Cat lives suck. It is so sad

My orange tabby's absolutely favorite toy is a dollar tree "fish" that used to be on a stick. I removed the stick and he plays "fetch " several times a day. My Calico prefers a soft pony tail holder of mine. She stole it out of the bathroom one day and now its hers.😂

My cats don’t like laser pointer it bores them.

Can I ask you something. I have watched some videos and they say that dry food is not good. That you should give your cat wet or raw food.

The least expensive toys are his favorites, I've spent hundreds on enrichment for this cat and his favorite toy is a ball of yarn.

My dog ate a piece of koko crunch(google it, it's a chocolate cereal) that fell from my table and I'm super worried. She's 15 lb and has no current problems except her heartbeat is fast (I should probably check that, that happened before any chocolate problems) should i worry

My cats go outside with me. Everything he doesn't come back in 20 minutes I look foe him. Sending him the message, you matter, food is here, play time us limited, you don't go any further than thus, leash trained, follows me everywhere, docile around fear. My cat is my baby. Who has a soul mate kitty?

The Balcony access is good advice. The harness is everything.

You want it to be "their" choice. Weather you like it or not, statistics clearly show it's dangerous out there. If you let them come and go as they wish like farm cats, as hunky dory as that may sound it will cut a big chunk from their life expectancy.

The best thing for an indoor cat is another cat to play with. I was given a kitten and quickly realised he needed a friend to play with. I managed to get another kitten from the same litter, the difference since his brother came to live with us is unbelievable he’s so much happier. They’re both imprinted on me but when I’m at work they’ve got each other and that makes me feel so much better.

I like a FOIL ball more than the laser thing....they can't CATCH the laser thing....just my 2 cents!

Indoor cats get bored while outdoor cats get killed really easily because they don’t really have a defense mechanism and they often kill wildlife which can decrease wildlife so i’d say, get a full fenced backyard with tall fences and no exists or a catio that they have access to 24/7

I have a balcony, which also can be accessed by a window. What I did was I made one of those DIY cat cages, very huge and very cheap. (If you get crafty you can make it very nice with multiple layers) Then what I did was I got a window cat door and made the cat door only accessible to the cat cage, so the cat can go into the balcony cat cage whenever he wants. I used some heavy plastic netting to make sure that there was no chance he could access the open areas of the balcony from the cat door. (A lot of netting, zip ties and a power drill were involved)

I hve 3 kittens 5mnths old...grnf floor aptmnt...balcony is covered with glass windows n ive made a big hammock where they chill out ..but i constantly worry about not giving them outdoor life..sunshine, grass, plants, rain to njoy.... wat is best for them?

Yeah, I definitely notice that my cat gets bored indoors compared to when she gets to spend time outdoors at our cottage. She's still a kitten and wants to spend hours upon hours playing each day. The outdoors can provide that kind of stimulation, I can't. My favorite way to mimic the outdoor needs of a kitten has been to sprinkle small toys everywhere, so she can't take two steps without finding something fun to poke at. It's messy, but the outdoors is messy, and it keeps her from bothering me as much for playtime.

With toys.. My cats have found a way to tear apart literally every toy including very tuff dog toys. I take my cats on walks for some exercise

I purchased these types of items and my cat got no drill out of them. I wasted money and my cat prefers boxes paper rolled up and thread and strings. So I'm gonna say it's a no for me. None of my cats care how u care for them just as long as you feed them and give them space. The overweight issue is that cats like all animals love to eat treats. No treats.

I think indoor cats are better and kinda live longer than outdoor cats, some cats can be trained However some just look at you like "yeah I see the trick am not interested just fine the treat instead 😸". How did you make that cardboard/wire toy? Overall good info and video 👍😸🐾

I need a honest answer if I should get a cat and please do not spare my feelings on the subject. I've wanted a cat for a while now but am unable to let it live outside due to the other cats where I live being aggressive and territorial, so I am thinking about getting one and letting it live in the house, there are some problems... 1.Dogs: I have 2 dogs, one pup and one adult dog. The adult dog gets along perfectly with cats but the pup tried to attack a cat last week and doesnt seem to like them. Solution: I let the cat have access to the upstairs since the dogs are not allowed up there(I spend most of my time upstairs), but another problem comes with that and that is the cat jumping the baby fence at the top of the stairs. Please give me some advice or simply just tell me its not a great idea for me to get a cat.
