Watching all of the live footage from the 70s it’s So hard to believe that figures like Annie Haslam would be using a phone to take photos. In this modern age. It’s the strangest thing to me, because I tend to anchor and associate these legends to the mythical time of early rock and prog. She’s still very beautiful and so full of life. Thank you for this!

Heart was dying, losing touch with the world, selling out was the only way forward....and that included selling in image that was not really them. But they wanted to stay relevant and they wanted the cash. End of story.

The bass work Carl Radle played live on Derek and the Domino's record/CD box set reissue "LIve at the filmore"is in my opinion the very best and most dynamic,driving,swinging, and masterful example of what electric fender precision bass is capable of really, bringing to the stage when a master of his/her instrument is laying it down,along with the human metronome Jim Gordon on drums, and slowhand Eric Clapton delivering some of the bestsolo's of his musical catalog,Bobby whotlock is no slouch either,but Carl Radle was such a gifted bass player to this day anyone who says "so and so is a god bass player,even when in agreement mi mention Mr.Radle ,and how amaing his playing was,good to know others think the same.

I have always admired Sandy Denny and Annie Haslam. Their voices are heavenly to my ears. What a wonderful revelation that Annie shared this with us. I believe her every word. There seems to be, in my opinion, a kind of cosmic connection between these two women.

What a shame we don’t get to hear the entire interview. I wanted to hear more about Herb Cohen and Tim Buckley. It’s also common knowledge that Zappa in the late sixties offered him the gig to play bass with the Mothers. That never came to pass.

Tony is a marvelous musician as well as a great human. Thanks for sharing this interview. It's so nice to learn little bits about his life on the road. Spending years of my life wondering what it would be like to be a part of an awesome band makes Tony's stories and photos so valuable to me.
