It turns out the cannonball slide... there is no more footage of it being used other than what is in this video. Like I watched a video of a documentary someone made and they said that no more footage could be found on some slides etc. so it was just in a loop. These older waterparks are interesting and now it's been made safer which is nice.

The action park is very dangerous there. Ludi are dying.

Went to Action Park 3 or 4 times. We were a unique generation. We'd hear about (or be present for) accidents and injuries at the park, but still want to partake. That place was an amazing free-for-all and major lawsuit waiting to happen. It was certainly a product of tbe times🤦🏿

I grew up in California, we didn't have anything like this that I can recall. I heard Uncle Joey talking about this place and had to know more.

What’s sad is alot of the park looked amazing and very thrilling, who knew things would go so far down hill..

I thought i heard a lifeguard blow their whistle. At a place like action park, i thought there weren't any lifeguards at all. Edit: more like "something for everyone, looking for death"

I'd always ask my parents to take me there, but they wouldn't, probably because of Action Park's safety record. Looking back, it was a good idea not to go. Only thing is I never got initiated as a "proper New Jerseyan" - I didn't have the scars or injuries people got from some of the rides.
