WTF?!!! You don’t say anything?!! How does this help?!!!!
Why don't these vids talk about the bow anchor? What's so special about watching guys throw lines to someone on shore? Boreing.
interesting product solving problems with Mooring is GHOOK - boatasy.com
The mooring line is tied to big concrete block sunk at the water on one side and the other side is tied to the dock, so the vessel only needs to get to the dock, pick the mooring line and handle it to the bow, where it acts as a spring line, allowing to get the boat near but not to crash to dock. Easy.
Alfcorr YTB Mooring line is the line dropped into the water at 0:35? I assume bowman grabbed it with the boat hook out of frame which is when there gentleman on the seawall let it go? Or am I completely misunderstanding the situation?
Haha I found out it is Porto Ferraio. I really like Elba island.
What's the boat next to it? Nice looking stern
Nice video, but Corsica is a part France. Did you not get told on your tour, or even when booking your holiday? I can understand Italy as that's the closest country, but Spain? Come on dude, not even close.
Docking is always a time for worry, like landing a plane, you never know what will go wrong. A nice calm day sure makes for an easier docking.
Hi, my friend, are not "anchors pre-dropped" but a very big chain connected with concrete blocks and there are ropes back to the quay so you have only to take it and bring it to the bow...very simple. ps Italian sailor...we normally say good wind...so good wind to you
