According to Wikipedia, Jordan was also on "I've Got a Secret". But, after searching the show archives, I have been unable to locate this episode, or any mention of his name. Please comment if you have any info.

Having begun my law enforcement career in south Texas, 1985, and having read the articles of "Skeeter Skelton" in SHOOTING TIMES magazine, I was aware of the legendary Bill Jordan. Late in his career as a writer in the 1990s, Mr. Jordan wrote a brief column in Shooting Times magazine with a entitled "Tales from the Border," or similar title, in which he would detail humorous stories from his career. He also solicited stories from his readers and I submitted one drawn from my brief career in south Texas. Mr. Jordan liked it so much he wrote a letter in his own hand, and in red felt tip pen, thanking me and promising to both see it published but also to come visit me when he was next passing through the Houston area where I resided at the time. His appreciation of my writing served as encouragement for me to become a writer myself. I'm proud to say I impressed the legendary Bill Jordan....with a funny story!
YESSSS ITTTT ISSSSSSS.....
This is the kind of shit _Rational Preps_ would tell you is more practical than the AR
That very scenario happened to me. I had a revolver. Had it been a semi auto I would have been dead.
I’m an old Gunsite graduate and mighty grateful for what I learned at Gunsite
That’s a jungle king liar
true
You are what's wrong with the world today you e'f nut!
Thank you
If you cant understand how to work a firearm, please dont try or carry one

Hey brother how are you? Haven't heard from you in a bit. I've been super busy, sorry. Tbh this video worries me a bit. Lmk you're ok here or on discord.
still alive
I’d say the one in the middle for the speaker. Those who bad mouth the .380 caliber don’t quickly volunteer to stand in front of one.
First time hearing what he sounded like, thanks
A true gentleman, I shook his hand at a NRA convention, his hands were Hugh.
This was my grandfather. It’s indescribable to randomly hear one of his many many stories again. Amazing upload
Very Cool. I wish I could've met your grandfather. And I wish I had more recordings of him. Thanks for commenting.
@ me too!! I’m sure he would have had you in his kitchen for a cappuccino and a story any day! I find people posing about him every now and again and I think “dang… he was something alright!!”
@@katrinacirillo1396 a while back, I posted "Tales of the Gunfight - Bill Allard" Bill was your grandfather's partner at the time. The clip I posted is a description of a crazy fight that they got into, with a link to a full interview with Allard.
Great guy love reading his books
If this was professional it would be a really cool anti recoil device.
o hell Bonny be like why am i having to hold this balloon.😲😆
Where can i hear the story
Link in the description
As a young police officer, I was very impressed with Mr. Jordan's shooting ability. I spent the money to find his book "No Second Place Winner" and read it many times. It gives great insight into gunfighting and the culture of the Border Patrol. I am certain he is rolling in his grave at the current misdirection of the border patrol agents as directed by the current administration. Bill was a "man's man". God rest his soul.
Its Nov 24, I picked up #2 as soon as he was introduced. Bill was bad ass and was and still is respected by many.
Let’s keeper goin hell yea buddy!
Man has huge hands. Heard him described as the fast man with the slow drawl.
Jeff Cooper was wrong about just everything.....said the double action was a solution to non existing problem..FALSE. Said the 7.62x39 Ak round was a poor military cartridge..FALSE. Said the 45 was a 90% man stopper...VERY FALSE!! And that idiotic Scout rifle......PLEASE!! His sexist comments about females in military and police work would not fly today either.
10 FEET and less, IF you practice enough and can hold your mud when being shot-at.
people want the ranget to be 20+ feet, so that they'll have 2+ seconds, and the thugs will (probably) miss them or will be unable to charge the good guy fast enough with their knife or club. That's not how hit happens on the street, tho. They get to start from 6 feet away and are all OVER you in less than 1.0 second. That's why you need to be a black belt and when around people you dont know, have your hand in your pants pocket, with a fiiring-grip on a 16 oz, 6" long, single stack 9mm. Load it with jthe 2000 fps, 50 gr, solid copper, 450 ft lb hp's from Liberty Arms. Animal tests prove such loads to be just as effective as .357 jhps, but have no more recoil than a hot 380 ACP load., despite having 4x as much stopping probability.
Recoil seems to go straight back not up so much
This guy is a dick.
we need men like this now.
Very entertaining
Many people have claimed Ed McGivern was an instinctive shooter, but he denied it and said he always aimed (at least when shooting at targets thrown into the air). The image at 5:03 is proof he was aiming because these are not random hits. He adjusted his sights before each shot so that the bullet struck a different part of the target each time. Instinctive shooting does not allow for such precision.
I have read and studied Mr Jordan’s book No Second Place Winner several times. No where in that book does he mention reloading the gun . So I figure that it’s not the if that much importance. Too me his methods are the best at winning a gun fight. His articles in gun magazines are superior to most others. He had lots of practical experience to back it up. He is missed and appreciated.
is that a steel lower?
aluminum alloy
Where was I, why didn't I look him up, thank him and shake the hand of this great American !
No! No! Not Bill Jordan! Santa Maria!!!
One of the best!
A legend!
I've heard that in the early days, he did this .38 wadcutter ammo, at outdoor ranges, of course
Bet it is worth a small fortune
priceless
Damn bro that was pretty bold to shoot the cardboard box w the mirror behind it 💀
I just swapped out so standard 870 parts for the upgraded ones. Excellent choice and saved $ doing it. Great video! 😊
The P7M8 has a learning curve but it's the ultimate hipster pistol and quite pleasant to shoot, excellent bore axis. Apparently the M7 gets hot but the M8 is better and also in general ergonomics. It's gun I want to own someday. Of
It's such an underrated movie and Sean Bean in extremely good as always
I know that voice anywhere 😂😂😂😂😂
Words of wisdom 😊
🔥🔥
Great upload.
