I weigh that in Game 6 Jordan was emotionally unhinged as it was Father's Day. The death of his father was one of the reasons that made him retire earlier. As soon as the game ended, Jordan broke down in tears. Maybe he affected his performance because of that.

First of all, it was the 72-10 Bulls, 2nd they didn't almost beat the Bulls.. GTFOH 🙄

After the Bulls got up 3-0 they did what many teams have a tendency to do in that situation...they just kind of let up and took their foot off the gas because they knew the series was over and they were champions. Jodan having an off game didn't have anything to do with Payton, he just happened to be off. There was never any question at any point in that series whether or not the Bulls would win.
