2024 MOHAI Everyday Hero: Sea Potential
2024 Honoree: Sea Potential
Sea Potential cultivates a full cycle of Black Indigenous People of Color representation in maritime. Through healing activities and ocean justice conversations, they focus on fostering youth appreciation and connection to marine ecosystems, in addition to transforming the maritime industry with inclusive workplace culture. Sea Potential envisions a world that promotes representation over assimilation, reciprocal healing and relationships where everyone is seen, heard, and valued.
Sea Potential’s efforts to inspire and empower BIPOC youth, along with their commitment to creating positive change in the community, represent the essence of the Everyday Hero Award.
MOHAI's Everyday Hero award:
Every year MOHAI recognizes Everyday Heroes, the people and organizations who make our community stronger.
The program began in 2020 as our region-and the rest of the world-struggled with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The honorees are individuals and organizations that have impacted our city, our nation, or our collective quality of life. They created positive change through their innovative ways of thinking and taking action in our community.
MOHAI is a proud contributor to the Pacific Northwest, and we are stronger because of all the amazing people who support our community, every day. In gratitude and recognition, we honor our region’s Everyday Heroes at our annual MOHAI Gala.

What a pleasure to watch. Engaging, educational AND funny.
Interesting note, that particular cable car was actually a cable dummy. Short for cable dummy locomotive, they would almost always be paired with an enclosed trolley trailer. The dummy would connect and pull the trolley along.
my walk through with Mikala the day the exhibit opened (Friday). ua-cam.com/video/QY4miKY_yRE/v-deo.html
25 years later everything they were protesting and warning about has gotten worse! 🤬
I was there, leading the 35-musician-strong ANTI- FASCIST MARCHING BAND!
So good. Watched from Vancouver (BC). Having visited Seattle very often in the 70's and 80's it was like a second city to me. So when Almost live came along I felt like I had been let into a special club for locals only. I honestly would laugh so hard that tears would run down my face. Billy Kwan, Rug Emporium, and so many more. King TV caught lightning in a bottle, the likes of which will never be seen again. Bravo MOHAI! PS: John was right there were times when Almost Live was funnier than SNL.
aaaand, take two.
Prison justice really works wonders. Karma bitches you well deserves
The kkk is still live and well in the democratic party
In the end, the klansman was used to collect a lot of money from its members to support the Federal Government
If you have to hide your face and it's not a medical thing or Halloween, it's probably not good for the rest of society.
I been living in Washington State since 1967 and I am thankful that I am Mostly Alive to watch this fun Almost Live 40th anniversary.
Loved Almost Live as a teenager in the 90’s. Watched from Nanaimo, BC Canada back then. Great show. Still watch sketches online when I can. The show made an impact on my life. Thank you.
Sad that ed wyatt couldn't make it cause he's in Australia now
To the people who put on this great show, you are hilarious, and you have made a lot of this guy’s days the past few years. Glad I came across this show in COVID.
So crazy they got Bill Nye and Joel McHale to come out and do this! This show was something unique and irreplaceable.
Too bad Bob Nelson is too Hollywood now for this

You goofed, there was a second or two when I could actually hear your narration above the annoying music !!

Wear a spook hood in my presence. Well u want even see it coming. The only association was of the inbred near idiot. And we no the real hate was a lack of ur manhood. Nothing too do with nothing else. U throw Jews and gays in ur hate as only cover. What u hate is that bbc. Yet u love it in ur porn, of which u sneak to watch. Feel that hate of truth
Gross weirdos
birth of a nation was more true than "Roots", the north knew what it was doing putting negroe troops in southern cities knowing very well rape and murder would follow.
Now it’s called antifa
Smoking crack billy
The KKK was and is Profa. David Duke was a Dixiecrat that became a Republican around the time of the Richard Nixon administration.
When Ronald Reagan was a Democrat, he was a Dixiecrat (when he was the head of the Screen Actor's Guild) he was notorious for Stiffing Black Actors) he became a Republican as the Democratic Party disowned Dixiecrats.
@@craigbrowning9448 I don’t care if it’s Joe Biden or Jimmy Carter or whatever feckless leader the antifa Marxist revolutionaries vote for it’s always the same outcome more poverty for America. You got a little party that the only way to save the world is by destroying humanity.
Called MAGA 🤡

A branch line made nearby property more valuable. The checkerboard pattern gave the RR additional incentive to extend longer branch spurs in flatter, potentially agrarian land. This was a desired condition by the government. Past the RR branch line freight moved at the speed of a team pulling a wagon.
I love the back ground music!!
So well deserved! Congratulations, Eia! You’ve changed my kids… for good. Thank you MOHAI!
Must have been a drought in combination of excessive trees and wooden buildings and housing.
Gorgeous helmet!👍
I love profesor Naar, he deserves un reconocimiento de la Fundación Premios Príncipes de Asturias
