20:15 it’d be a very hard clause to write into a managers leaving terms that you can’t sign players from Reading in Jan. Rueben has no control over what the Director of Football does. And you can’t prevent him from saying “those were my favourite players at Reading”. So I doubt there’s anything in that rumour. And even if there is, it wouldn’t be hard to work around it. However Reading can refuse to sell to Hull City if they’re that bothered. Which also makes no sense if they need the money and the offer is that good.

Defence is not the problem. The problem is that we're under pressure all over the pitch, and when we dont put the ball in the back of the net, the defence has to hold the whole thing together. Once we start scoring the defence will look a lot more in control. Keep the faith!

If you got awards for running around a lot then Coyle would be a gold medalist. The problem is, he doesn't have a footballers brain and 90%of his effort is wasted. The other 10% he is just a liability. His passing backwards issue has been a hindrance to the team for all the time he has been with us and he is out of position so often that every opposing side has him easily read and easily beaten. As he skipper he is frankly useless. He surely can only have been given that honour because he is a local lad but you NEVER see him berating players or encouraging their performances, put simply he lacks charisma and displays no leadership qualities whatsoever. Does he have commitment? Of course he does but so do most of the supporters and I wouldnt select them to play either. Its time to move him on to a team that is his level and let him play out his career elsewhere.

I think we reached a point where this squad is no longer tenable regardless of who the manager is. We need some energy, heart, spirit, and hunger and quality injected into the team in January. These players just don't look interested at all, I thought their performances would be boosted to try and impress the manager but they couldn't look any less.

Acun has taken us back 2 years with the appointment of Walter, Liam aside his managerial appointments have been poor, he needs to get this next appointment right if not he may start loosing the fans. On the next manager I don’t see us going for anyone that will cost us money as regards paying the club compensation as we have already paid off Liam and now Walter and his staff, Robbins in my view not wanting an interview is a little arrogant and since he lost his right hand man results didn’t go his way, Cooper will not be interested with us being in the bottom 3 and he probably thinks he can do better elsewhere, I’m surprised nobody mentioned the guy at Reading who’s name eludes me. Looking at the current crop of players selected for the Boro game only Pandur and Palmer stood out for me the defence is poor job to tell about midfield as Walter didn’t use it and upfront we have nothing to offer. Does anyone else think this squad is better than mid table at best? and come January who would want to come to the club if potentially we could be in the bottom 3. So many questions 🤔
