      Without a doubt, this shirt routine is rather focused on muscle endurance that it would not cause muscle muscle to reach hypertrophy levels. You may want to start off 3 times a week to adapt and depending on how how body react you can surely integrate additional days. Bare in mind, you will need rest at some point. Me, personally do it 3-4 times and either change of make them harder

    Yesss!! I love this one! Your form is top notch - legs kept straight (that I do too, but guys usually have a harder time with it - plus you get the bonus points for pointed toes which seems to be against male religion too😆). Controlled descent++ (mine is more of a controlled crashdown than a controlled descent😅). One thing if I can give a tip when I am not doing as good by far🤓🤓 - I leave my arms straight overhead but not stuck under something so I can’t help myself with the arms. Have a great day!!

      Quick question: you mention exhale while bringing legs up to 90 degrees. Then you also exhale when curling up and inhale while lowering down, is that right?

    Hi there! I actually really like the exercise selection, I was already doing some of them without a band to work on my compression. So I love the idea of using the band for that! I am confused though, it feels to me that the band is actually making the exercise easier🤔 Is that normal?? Like it is easier for me to do the leg lifts with the band than w/o the band, am I doing something wrong here??

      Hi Carocaro, The band indeed is supposed to make the exercise "easier" by helping you not use your rectus femoris during the leg lift as much as your hip flexors (psoas, iluacus, rectus abdominus )and allowing you to with your range of motion . A common problem with this move is most people will find their quads firing when leg lifting, ending with cramps on the legs. The band allows the leg flexor(RF) to work on a lower rate which balances out the muscles tension btw, making the exercise more efficient. You can start off a few sets with the band and then try with no band. I assure you will notice the difference

      Cirque Athlete Wow - thank you, I wasn’t even expecting a reply since this video was posted a while ago! And it is a high quality reply too - thanks, totally makes sense, I thought easier meant a regression, but it is actually targeting different muscles. I’ll keep doing the exercises (plus, they are more gratifying than the band-less version since I feel like a super hero lifting those legs higher😅). I looked at your other videos and I am astounded this account is not more known, I have subscribed right away! I saw your candlestick video, one of my faves. I am in love with handbalancing but have my left arm in a sling (broke my clavicle doing acro yoga two weeks ago) so I’m sentenced to 2 months off my hands, so I’m focusing on any exercises I can do in my current limitation, and candlestick+the leg lifts were some💪🏼 (or rather, 🦵🏼).
