There is also the amazing stagegraphy (can't recommend enough), and dance practice. With her mv, she sat us down, and showed us how to eat. Since then she has kept us proper fed. 🤌🏻🤌🏻🫶🏻

He is so crazy smooth when he spins i love it. This new comeback of his is so good, I've been listening to it sooo much. This and Key's were the two this year that made me go insane. Last year it was Hard and Guilty haha.

The thing about Minho is that he will bite his lip and/or wink during a performance, there is no stopping him. Then he smiles and he is like the cutest person you've ever seen. I have had Call Back on repeat since the album dropped, the only song I'm not thrilled about is Fireworks... it's not a bad song but it's a little too hiphop for me. Came and Left Me is the song I'd name first as my favorite on Call Back. It makes you groove. He has a Dingo performance of I Don't Miss You and, oh, he sounds even better than the CD! I keep going back to it. Highly recommend the next time you react to him.

Fun fact: Notice how the sign outside the bar/the name of the bar in Minho's "Chase" MV says, "The last piece of the puzzle" referring to the fact that Minho's 6 song mini album Chase made him the last of the SHINee members to have a solo debut and that his album completes Jonghyun's legacy of making all the members solo debut album titles rhyme in order to show their bond as members of SHINee -- Taemin Ace (2014), Jonghyun Base (2015), Key Face (2018), Onew Voice (2018) and Minho Chase (2022). (This has also made SHINee the first SM group to have all their members debut solo -- it only took a little more than 14 years, but like everything SHINee does, they still managed to pull off being the first. LOL) As one of the top actors in Korea starting in 2011, over the years Minho has developed an eye for storytelling. Plus, at university he majored in filmmaking and acting. Therefore, he had a specific vision for what he wanted the story and message to be in his "Chase" MV. After being sent several drafts of the MV by the director, Minho went to the editing studio himself and actually directed the storyline the way he envisioned the story. So everything you see was designed by him. He even made the decision to not include choreography in the MV in order to make the story more cinematic. As I see it, the "Chase" MV is about being chased and sort of haunted by the memory of his past love. The girl broke up with him (or died) and he keeps chasing after the memories of her and the good times when they were in love. He keeps going to the bar where he has good memories of her and he gets beat up because he is disturbing people, as you see him walk up to that couple in the bar thinking the girl was his past lover. The guys who are beating him up are trying to prevent him from coming back or entering the bar, but he won't stop, so they have to use force. In the beginning of "Chase" we see Minho and the girl lying on the bed. However, if you notice, Minho is staring at the girl but the girl is looking into the camera, which is over his shoulder. I see this as symbolizing how, even though it might look like things are OK and Minho might feel like they are still in love, the girl has already checked out of the relationship and she already has one foot out the door. The relationship was long over at that point. So Minho is struggling to accept what happened. He was still in love when she had fallen out of love. I'm not really sure that he was in a car accident in "Chase" or that she really died in the accident. I sort of see it as a metaphor about how their relationship came crashing to an end from Minho's perspective, and it symbolizes the death of their love, etc. Which is why we see that the scene where he runs after the girl right after the car accident is in reverse and everything is being rewound. The car accident could be a literal car accident, but I see it as more likely representing his emotional state. At the end of "Chase", my interpretation is that he shot the memories that have kept him stuck in the perpetual loop, he wasn't killing himself but trying to stop the memories of her from consuming his life. With everything that SHINee has been through, Minho's storyline would have never depicted any form of suicide. As you can see, even though there is no dancing in the "Chase" MV, Minho has some very cool choreography to go with the song. Although Minho is the main rapper of the group, in fan meetings and concerts when he has a solo stage, he often does dance covers or dance performances because he is also a really good dancer. Call Back is his first full length album with 10 songs, and he is also holding his first solo concert tour with this comeback (although he has already held several solo fan meetings in the past few years, which are like mini concerts). As SHINee's main rapper, Minho's style of rap is very diverse and changes with every song to match the song style. He is one of the most versatile rappers in the industry as far as never sounding the same, ever. As SM's experimental boy group, SHINee are known as one of the best vocal groups to ever exist, so all the members' solo songs showcase their own personal style with an emphasis on their vocal skills. "Call Back" is very on brand with Minho's style, and yet because he is a member of SHINee, it's different than anything he has ever done before and it doesn't follow any current trends. I can almost guarantee that with this comeback you will start to see and hear Minho's smooth, laid-back R&B pop style being emulated across the industry. Because when it comes to SHINee, the industry looks to SHINee as a group and the members to show them what the next trend in music and dance will be. Literally, music producers, writers and choreographers have said that when they know SHINee -- or any of the members -- is about to come out with new music, they wait to see what SHINee's new song and dance style is like before deciding on what direction to take with their next project. If you haven't already you also need to check out Minho's first solo single "I'm Home" MV from 2019 and his pre-release "Heartbreak" MV from his Chase album. Plus, he has written several of SHINee's songs, and all his rap parts in 99% of SHINee's songs.

The whole Call Back album is absolutely amazing I keep recommending it to everyone lol

Minho's solo discography is pretty r&b heavy with a touch of other genres mixed into it. He's got the type of chill late night drive music. Call Back is his first MV with choreo, btw. His other previous MVs (I'm Home, Heartbreak, and Stay For A Night) don't have choreo, but the latter two have dance practices as well. He really likes the cinematic MVs. He was a film major in grad school and for Chase, he created the storyline and took part in some of the directing and suggested editing changes as well, he was super involved (as all SHINee men are involved) in his work. I would suggest doing a full album listen for Call Back, it's so good!! It's really hard to pick a favorite track. If you want more vocal range but chill sounding, then out of the songs in the album, maybe check out Slow Down, Affection, I Don't Miss You, and Would You Mind. I think Fireworks, Round Kick, Something About U, and Came And Left Me are more powerful energetic songs. But all the songs are good in my opinion 🔥

Simply beautiful vocals and so diverse, yet his rapping is allways a chefs kiss!! He can sway me off my feet any time, he is the full package!! Five talented solo artists 👑👑👑👑👑 and as SHINee they're AMAZING

What I love about Taemin's MVs is that they are almost always one of the two: 1. An entire, structured theatrical storyline with meaning (e.g., Sayonara Hitori, Criminal, Guilty, Advice) 2. A simple, non-structured video that focuses on the theme/concept of the feeling of the song (e.g., Under My Skin, Day and Night, Thirsty)
