U made that look way too easy bro! 👍🏼
Can I get this list emailed to me.? Took me back to my childhood
What’s your email?
Maybe don't steal from people? Just a thought
@20:27 After all these years, you still don't know how to pronounce Bowman correctly.
Ohhhhh rlly
@15:56 You keep cramming more and more cards on the screen. I can't even see them clearly they're so tiny.
Gotta upgrade from the iPhone 7 bro
I want your Griffey collection!!!!
Any way for me to get one or both of your ranking lists. I collect Roberto Alomar and Juan Gonzalez 90s inserts. I would love to use your Griffey break down to create my own for Alomar and Juan. Love the video and your insights...John
Hi Joe, what would kind of value would you put on a 1999 topps finest sterling gold /100 refractor die cut ken griffey jr?
Nice Griffey collection man! I love Griffey Jr!!!
top notch video
Thanks for checking it out !
U CAN FIX THAT . THEIRS A GUY ON U TUBE THAT SHOWS U HOW
What do you mean by BACK DOORED ?!?!? Fake ??? Is that what you mean ??? Also The suicide thing about that guy isn’t funny at all Probably shouldn’t joke about suicide
Absolutely loved this video. Loved seeing all the Griffey cards. I PC him and a lot of these are grails to me. Super enjoyable video fellas!
Just watching this now wow great stuff . Would love a follow up of how to operate in the current market for newer 90s collected that are not playing with house money . 90s market seems strong still
Would you be interested in the complete set of the tops black gold set.I be willing to sell them
I just picked up a '98 Jeter PMG. I've been mainly collecting big 90's football but going to acquire baseball starting this year. I have 1,700+ big cards (mostly 90's) on display in the free iPhone app NextGem. My member name is- 32degrees
I follow you on insta too. Same name joey_peapod
Hey, question… how do I know if my Griffey is just a refractor or the atomic? The 1997
It will say it right on the back for thaf year but the atomic has a pattern and the regular refractor just glows
@@joey_peapod ty. I’m gonna have a look Hey, another question: sorry… but that 94 UD Collectors choice gold signature PSA 10 you had in one of your videos….. would you be interested in a trade?
$30 a box! I gotta get me some :) 97 Ultra was such a cool design. Great Griffey pickup! On my list someday
Sorry you didnt get an Ortiz! Beautiful Griffey
So happy I’ve found this channel. Been binging these discussions. Griffey was THE guy for me growing up. I’m really tuning in trying to learn, the Griffey market is so much deeper than I could’ve imagined! Keep up the great informative work!
Amazing 90’s stuff.
Thanks Bill!
Good stuff as always Joe! LAs much as I love seeing the cards I get even more out of hearing your knowledge on each card/set!
Appreciate you checking it out!
thanks for sharing! that class 3 at the end is too cool
Yea that was one of my favorites I picked up by far
No 1998 Bowman's Best Atomic Refractor #/100 ? Those in a PSA 10 are pretty sick
They are in there. They are towards start of my list on this one
Great video guys. Really enjoyed it. I collect super high end 90s Bond inserts. Lots of cards on these lists. Have a question for you... I look at your list and then am thinking what cards are available for Bonds. So in your tier 1 there is no similar game jersey auto or Mirror Gold pastime power. But my main question revolves around the EX NOW. With Bonds, there are only 2 copies in existence (one of which just moved for 110k). It almost seems appropriate to put this card in the 1/1 category if you are a Bonds collection, no? Curious your thoughts. It just seems so unattainable if you are trying to collect the top tier. At least with Griffey there are 10. With 10 copies it seems reasonable to leave it in the top tier. With only 2 for Bonds, it's basically a 1/1.
I’d probably consider that Bonds basically a 1/1 at this point because both are accounted for so unless you get like 150k I’m sure they will He locked up. I didn’t put any subset parallels in my list. They usually always sell for about half the regular card (always some exceptions and varies by player) so that’s why I didn’t put the pastime power.
cool video, long list lol. defintely feel like 97 Bowman Chrome Int'l refractors are WAY higher in rating though. One of the best looking cards ever produced, and not easy to find, and shooting WAY the heck up in value comparatively. Maybe not the Griffey, but lots of other players are far more expensive than they "should be". I think 99 TEK /10s deserve a lot more love than they were given too. Just my opinion though :)
The 97 International Refractors definitely sell well but I think in the overall weight of all inserts they are right around where we put them but that’s the beauty you can get them Still. The 99 Tek Golds are the precursor to all the prizm stuff we see with endless parallels. They are /10 sure but the 60 variations is what waters is down a lot imo
Hellz yeah. Watched this for like an hour. Good info. 👍🏼
great lists! thanks for sharing
Question for each, if there were 1 card from your collection & only one you ended up keeping after you retired or so to just hang onto what card what that be?
Mine would the 97 Gold Embossed Refractor
Gonna cheat and say two: the ‘97 Gold Embossed Refractor like Joe and my ‘98 Pinnacle Certified Mirror Gold
Thanks both! Those 97 Gold Embossed Refractors are something else & Mirror Gold.
Fantastic watch. Overall I’m glad I have a few examples of my guy Bonds along with a few other players that are on your lists. Thanks for the great content fellas! I like the idea of an episode for the 90’s player demand.
Thanks, Nate! We may do the 90s player demand episode next
Excellent stuff!
Enjoyed it. Some interesting info on 90's cards I don't see talked about in other places. Really like the 90's inserts and some of the 96 & 97 Topps Chrome Baseball Refractors. Yah agree some of these cards you just don't ever see.
Thanks, Robert - glad you enjoyed it. Bringing light to some of this 90s cards that are overlooked or not seen was the goal
Thanks for sharing the knowledge gentlemen!
Thank you both! Great insights.
Great breakdown, always an opportunity to learn about the 90’s cards!
Thanks for checking out!
Amazing breakdown. Love this. Well done!
Awesomeness! Very helpful. Thanks for sharing
Fun episode guys, looking forward to the next round of tiers!
I see y’all both rocking the Lacoste shirts!! 🔥🔥🔥 great podcast fellas. Keep it up!
Great job guys, this conversation will help many new collectors entering the 90’s market.
Amazing once again boys! Great job. Love watching and learning on these type of videos. I miss the essential credentials podcast. Too bad Matt left it and continued with his Hockey collection. Can’t wait for the next one.
Thanks for always tuning in and the feedback, Yunier!
Some great info & fun to hear you to. Yah I agree the 1996 & 1997 Topps Chrome refractors what happened to the quality control, ha. Really like the 90's insert cards. It was a great time of card experimentation that has not been duplicated. Most of the so called rare cards of todays are just remarks of those cards.
Fun discussion. There is sooo much to absorb in 90’s. Unless baseball just loses total interest, griffey commits a murder, or does some crazy political thing, there won’t be a crazy drop off. Maybe a correction, at most, if flippers get out or economy tanks
Completely agree. Griffey and Jeter too are pretty “safe”
Great show as usual, keep them coming!
Awesome stuff guys! Thanks, looking forward to the next one for sure
Great content. We need more for sure please. Keep it up guys!!
Fantastic, need more of these.
What ever happened to Chris Kurdelski? Did he sell his Griffey’s? I remember buying lots of Bonds from him back in the day when he’d split up sets and sell the singles.
He’s still going strong!
Great work and talking topics.
Great show guy's loved it!!!
