    It’s crazy you say your dad left Samoa on a Yacht bc my father left Samoa on a yacht bc my he was a great deckhand. The man who owned the yacht was the Mr. Gillette (made the 🪒). Mr. Gillette ask the man at the doc if he had a good deck hand? And that’s when he had my father called to come out. My father is from Fatagogo so he was right there. He sailed to HI from Samoa. This was 1961 when he left Samoa.

    Wow this is so awesome to see! I knew Mr. Brock from Placentia, he trained with my father R.Duran. I am little R.Duran his son. It was an honor to know and be around not only Mr. Brock but other extremely talented martial artists such as Mr. White and Mr. Van Deusen who have moved on from Placentia to do great things. Thank you for this.

      You know I always wondered how someone so talented didn't wind up on death row records? 🤔 cuz dude had talent. And could've made some major smoke in the industry. I mean massive. like, how did he get overlooked and more importantly why? if you can answer that I anxiously await the reply. very pressing subject. I think dude could've made a lot more than what he did. And 'deserved' it. There's not a lot of artists I can honestly say that about. especially fuckin today shit. Dudes a legend. And did more than a lot of these foohs did their whole career in just one☝🏽 soundtrack. '1.'

    • @PurpleDrac
      @PurpleDrac 5 років тому

      Actually the response above did. That explains it. You do kinda have to be the cash goat but man. his raps and level of talent were unmatched. There wasn't a single artist at the time who could match him fr. Shit was lit.

    Joe you're funny man. LOL. 'Drummers always get screwed' haha. I think you guys sound pretty good, and you're right about people not being able to get the Nirvana experience anymore....so cover bands do fill a niche. They have a place. Good on ya. LOL. Devo. You guys were temporarily a Devo cover band for 5 seconds haha. Joe's 'whip' sounded like it was straight off the Korg O1/W sample-player. Good point with the paw hands...guitar is pretty much right out. My hands aren't much bigger (average-size) but hell I've worried about my hand-size too and I'm 5'3". I actually gave up guitar for a while because I was worried about hand-size, but I took it up again and I'm doing okay. Drums are awesome though, no shame there. Won't get you laid (not that you care being married and all) but still, pretty awesome. Great unplugged performance at the end.
