The name of this island is Fulidhoo, yes there’s a slow boat but I recommend a speed boat to get there quickly. Also try booking it with your guesthouse before you arrive.

Sorry to hear about that rough ferry experience, I had visited 6 local islands in Maldives and was always a great experience. You’ll definitely enjoy local islands as they’re cheap, just as affordable and real untouched paradises.

Depends on your passport for Indian passport my latest info is that you can’t go back by road, that’s what the immigration said.

Usually on local islands you find guesthouses, I’m sure you could contact them for a monthly price. Use booking.com app or website to book these guesthouses.

I think you can using a Thai app but tickets are always available and can bought at train station!

Hi, I’ve shared it in the previous vlog :). You need take a ferry/speedboat from maafushi to male airport around 60$ and then another one from male to Fulidhoo 60$ more. Usually your guesthouses arrange the speedboat from/to male airport. Alternatively public ferry costs very less but it takes a lot of time!

Nusa dua is in the south of mainland Bali, from airport or anywhere else you can take a gojek or gocar ride to reach there. I’ll make a separate video on itinerary and budget stay tuned! But a brief idea is seminyak-> Nusa dua -> Ubud -> Nusa penida -> lombok-> gili for a rough idea, you can stay at one or all of these places in or near Bali.

Nusa penida and gili islands are separate from main island Bali and need ferries. Nusa dua is just reachable by land, it is a part of Bali, just in the south most corner .

I think technically it must be good. It’s visa free so you just get a stamp on passport but I recommend double checking if they’d allow to enter by road wherever you’re getting your ticket from. Sometimes passport strength matters!

Hey you can show up at the station and book the tickets by showing your passport,that’s what I did. It is possible to book online with a Thai app but I found it kind of difficult.

The ferry follows a fixed schedule mostly every day I guess and I think on Fridays it’s hard to get em. You can get these schedules at any guesthouses on local islands!
