Hi Mari, nice to see you back on here! I hope that you've been having a wonderful time in your Master's program. I'm looking forward to you updating on Instagram! Your lineup looks great. I've gotten down to only two journals, one hobonichi weeks and one take-a-note. So far I've been successful in doing daily entries but will see how that goes lol

I have a similar setup in my Hobonichi weeks. Books I have read. My fitness activity. My steps and if I closed my rings. The temperature. What I do every day even if it’s the same thing. What movies I watched. My favorites throughout the year. As well as some journaling on things that happen. I call it “My life in a year” book. It’s just captures me essentially for the year. I love looking back and seeing what I have been doing. What I loved or didn’t. The progress I have made. The things I have changed. And the weeks is the only notebook I kept constant in my life. I hav even using the weeks since 2017. But I have to say 2024 is when I really dialed in on what I want to include in my the weeks. It’s so much fun and I love it.

Hi hi Mari! I was so excited to see that you had uploaded. I’m glad to hear that you’ve been well and busy. I hope your last semester as a Master’s student goes well! 🎓 Your pocket bullet journal is so cute. I have been into green and orange and I love your capybara sticker… so cute! Congrats on finishing your Hobonichi weeks completely! That’s awesome and I honestly don’t think many people can say that they’ve been consistent in a planner/journal for a whole year. It’s definitely harder to do than it sounds. 😅 I actually also have been wanting to see how often I cry! that’s so funny and makes me feel less crazy haha. I love the Hobonichi weeks because of the variety of covers. If I had to choose one for this year I’d definitely get the paddington one too! Your health and wellness layout always inspires me so maybe I’ll tweak it for myself. I’ve actually tried your layout in the undated weekly + memo insert from TN. aaa if I setup any books for this year I definitely want to do the intentions, letter to myself, and selfie in the beginning of the book. I feel like it’s a nice way to break in the book without feeling overwhelmed or paranoid about “messing it up”. I have always enjoyed seeing your daily logs. I think processing the day in that simple way is nice. 🙂 your commonplace is already so cute! I love that it’s playful and not a full wall of text. Your spreads look so inviting and friendly. As far as a name goes, Jess from Planned by Jysla has a “Life Archive” book that reminds me of your book. Just an idea that came to mind! Rings are so interesting to me. I have always loved using binders throughout school. My brain loves the capability to move pages around, stuff things into pockets and organize later, and categorize however I please. I’ve been really intrigued with this idea but haven’t figured out how to fit it into my life yet. 🥲 It’s been fun to “chat” here and hear from you Mari! Do people put their actual passports in these? I'm just wondering for my setup if that'd be a good or bad idea. I'd have it on my person at all times in a fanny pack so I'm concerned about going through immigration/being at my travel destination.

Thank you so much for sharing these tips. I've been back and forth on whether I want to use a standard TN or Hobonichi weeks for my wellness planner seeing these layouts has given me some ideas to try out. I love the hobo weeks and have been a fan for years but I have all these TNs and inserts I want to use as well so thanks for the inspo!

Good morning, I appreciate your video. I new to the pocket planner and I just found your video. I wish I knew how to create things on my own without wasting paper and ink 😞. I’m figuring out my new pocket Moterm. I know what I want to use it for just how I want the inserts is an other story. I appreciated your comment about how Americans have their planner set up and to be honest I have not learned how Japanese have theirs set up. Any recommendations to watch I would love. I appreciate that you’re making it a place that you love to go and isn’t that the point of a planner 🤔. Have a wonderful day.
