Don't be harsh on them , they are probably self-taught home schoolers. I bet they have many subjects that they have mastered just as well as they did swing dancing . There are plenty of other homeschoolers that probably see this and think,,, this is awesome, so helpful, and all we need to know to choreograph for our musical or win the living room dance-off. This is perfect, we could learn this in 20 minutes! Realistically alot of other swing dancing videos make it look like it could be hard to do, this does not look hard to do at all.
I had tried the Back to Back on one partner with success. That's what I love about Lindy Hop. It allows the "flyer" to brave the danger of being lifted within the safety parameters, to make Lindy Hop more fun and enjoyable. Lindy hop experts, especially leaders who had done a lot of these "air steps", also call this type of lift the "Back to Back Roll." I even think Frankie Manning coined this lift---that. This aerial was also used in Jitterbug too, I guess.
On candlestick the follower should not come straight down from the inverted position. That can hurt her. Should come back to the center (open leg) position first to help get her to the ground in s safe way.

This is a choreography gold mine! I plan on using a simplified version of 2:16 for my musical!
