Cabarete is more of a place for experienced/advanced seasoned riders as it has shore brake deep water and waves. Punta Cana has shallow flat waters, no shore brake....in all Punta Cana is a more beginner friendly spot!!

Hi Lars, Our season starts in november and it ends in late april. July-August is also windy, but not as strong and consistent as the winter. Why Punta Cana? Punta Cana is at 5 to 15 mins from most of our hotels (70+ hotels) PUJ es the best connected airport in the Caribbean with daily or weekly flights to all mayor cities around the world, thus having better prices tickets as well. The Sun shines 365. our Kite Center is at 12mins from PUJ Airport, we have flat water waist deep (uncrowded) for freeriding/freestyle and medium to overhead waves out on the reef. Lars, When are you planing on visiting the DR?

Punta Cana is one of the best connected airport in the Americas with weekly direct flights from EU, USA, Canada and most of central and south America. Punta Cana windy season is from November to April, February being the best months with average winds from 20-24kts. Cabarete and Punta cana have both flat water and waves, with Punta cana having shallower waters and more flat water areas to choose from and no shore brake, making it ideal for beginners. Personally i love both spots.

I’m an experienced kitesurfer buy I’m also going with a friend who has never done Kitesurf yet, and he wants to take classes.So do you give Kitesurf classes in June? Thanks Ryan, i'm using a GoPro 9 mounted on my helmet. The trick of getting good footage is to make sure your camera is looking to where it's suppose to look. I check that azimuth every time before i ride.

We used a Gopro mounted on an extension on a helmet. Other videos are a combo of Gopro and Drone flying!!
