Massive Playmobil castle,Cradle of Dragons #playmobil #diorama #roeselare #dragons#houseofthedragon
This is one of the Dioramas built at playmobil weekend Roeselare (Belgium) in 2023.
The diorama was built by Playmo Wim and Maximus and named; Cradle of dragons.
It is a castle built on a lava fall.
The heat of the lava creates an ideal environment to hatch dragon eggs.
The castle was built to grow, teach and study dragons.
It consists of the great tower where platforms make it easy to mount the dragons and where great lords learn en show how to ride there dragons.
At this point in time there is an attack on the castle by a group of elves who want to take this strategic point and take control over the dragon breeding.
There is some confusion at the time of the attack as there is ceremony ongoing; one of the great lords is collecting his dragon after is was specially bred and trained for him.

Lions Peak is a Castle built on some rocks in the middle of a lake. It is built around it's massive center tower reaching 15 floors high. How long did it take to build all that?

When it is time to clean. How do you remove the dust? Where do you even start? I have always been torn between Lego and Playmobil. I believe Playmobil wins in my heart.
hehe, in my opinion; with playmobil you can build bigger with less peaces, with Lego you would need much more, but would be able to add much more details. each has its pros en cons. but I love Playmobil 😍😜 And yes it does get dusty, we remove most of it when we break down the diorama.
I seriously NEED TO KNOW what you’re using for your walls and windows and stuff? Are you 3D printing them or something? Or can you purchase these walls or something? I’m dying to make something like this!
Hi, you can watch the build here: ua-cam.com/video/tuJCI8YuseA/v-deo.htmlsi=JTXqoycUxn1tQVxD Almost all parst are genuine playmobil parts, there are 2 3d printer x-connecorts but you can find them in some playmobil sets however they do not have a brick pattern, which is the only reason I printed them (with a brick pattern). Can you please tell me what you’re using for your castle walls? Are you 3D printing the pieces or something?!

This is awesome. I seriously just found my old castle play mobile sets to give our kids and was thinking, ‘dude, what if I got like a ton of these used on eBay and made a big castle.’ This blows anything I could dream of out of the water. This is insanely cool, good work!

Hey Hammer mal wieder! Ein paar Fragen: aus was hast du denn die vielen Treppenstufen gemacht ? Und wo sind diese Erker raus entnommen? Das spitze Dach finde ich vermutlich, aber das nach unten abgerundete ist mir vor allem ein Rätsel. Und wie lange habt ihr gebraucht das alles aufzubauen? Oder warst du allein beim Aufbau? Und planst du solche Sachen im Kopf oder malst du sie erst auf? Entschuldigung für die vielen Fragen 😅🙈 bin super neugierig. Träume davon das auch zu machen; im Studentenzimmer lediglich etwas utopisch zZ noch.
Hi, thank you! I'm glad you're interested. I built this together with a colleague, It was mainly his idea, I had to find a way into is fantasy world and create some towers that fitted into the diorama 😊. The stairs are made from wood, the round tower roofs are 3D printed together with some other parts. But almost all of it is real playmobil, some modified... I make a lot of drawings before I start buiding, but when I'm buiding, the plans get adapted, or I start building something different 😜 We worked on the diorama for more than a week, but we already prepared most of the buildings at home. I'm still working on a video on how we disassembled everything, I hope to finish that soon. I hope you can start buiding your castles/diorama's soon ! regards, MAXIMUS
A Big Mpravo and Very well done from a fellow Knights' collector since, the brand was established in the 70's. Huge work on this massive creation and for sure a lot of money spent! After my son was born i was forced to vacate my klickies' room and they are all sitting for the last 6 years in my warehouse carefully sealed.. But now - he is 6+- he has started to show interest and after buying some old stock sets which are now sold from the Greek BU, i think it time to show him 'my treasure'!
Where do you find the pieces
almost all of the pieces are second hand from ebay or other sites.
Unreal! Done with my favorite golden wyvern pieces too!!! How did you do the customized logos that weren’t real OEM pieces? Decals? I can’t even tell they look perfect!
