Walking Bear

Bear is a rescue dog, probably about 2 years old, a Husky cross with something else. This is a condensed version of video of a walk with him. The video is made with GoPro11 held in place (somewhat) with a Gopro Harness (which is OK but could be better (or should be considering its price).
Meet Bear

Get another dog they said...so here he is. Meet Bear and witness his talent. I could not be angry with him, after all, I did not pay attention to him for all of 5 minutes.

Snow Happens (using the Greenworks 80V Snow Blower)

Using the Greenworks 80V snowblower (or is it thrower?). The snow on the deck was a bit packed as a lot of it came from the roof. Overall it is pretty good, even did well on the grass when making trails for Bandit. The unit is light so it can be carried easily, and there are no cords to worry about.
Dinner and a Show

It is not often that you get dinner and a show, alas, this is another one of those times. What we do have here is a show of a dinner, so enjoy.

How is it on the wet stuff?
I haven't really tried it on the wet stuff. I am not sure that would be a good idea.
80v better I got 40v not quite enough but using it for 4 yrs
It’s not always about the voltage of the battery.
HI - thanks for the effort on this vid. Really interested in getting one but how wet do you get? I want a sit on top, and would you say there is a difference with this boat?
Thanks for the comment/question. The Getaway is actually a sit-on-top Kayak, although it is a bit of a flat one at that. You do not get that wet, sitting in a raised seat helps with that. That said it is a kayak so you are always close to the water and getting a little wet especially while getting in and out is to be expected. Once you're in the seat and using the pedal drive you do not get wet but paddling always throws a bit more water around.
And the rest can be used for a salad...
Excellent video!!! Your content deserves a service like P r o m o s m.
Wow thank you!
Now that youve had it for a few months, what is the verdict?
I highly recommend it!
this reminds me of my skiing shaky cam footage :)
How you like it do you get really went since it so low to the water
You are really close to the water in this thing, or on it I should say, but I do not find I get that wet on it, not more than in other Kayaks I would say (and I have used sit on tops and sit inside). The fact that the seat raises you off the platform definitely helps. For people that like kayaking (I think anyway) being close to the water is part of the appeal. As with any vessel, you have to keep in mind its intent. This one is not for the wild and crazy waters, but for the ponds, (fairly) calm lakes and rivers.
@@mysaidso thanks for the reply
Seems pretty stable.
It is. It is not something I would use on white waters but it is great for local lakes, ponds and rivers.
Do you think this can be used around the harbor salt waters
@@freshsaltyfries5078 It might, but I think it is ideally suited for small lakes and such. I have no experience with it on the ocean, but I am guessing you may want something bigger for that.
