At this point you can get many, Benchmade quality knives for vastly cheaper!!! Walmart has a new mid sized stout fixed blades in vg10 steel for $49.97!!! That's insane!!! And it's damn nice too!!! Swiss tech is truly hoping their game, with their steels as well!!! They are now putting out folders and a few fixed blades with D2 steel!!! I have, to have the vg10 knife!!!!

Does the chuck make a click noise when you've tighten in as much as you could to secure the bit? I have the same drill and mine does not. My DeWalt drill does however make a clicking sound to indicate it's tighten completely

"just as good" ok bud. maybe its a nice little knife idk but benchmade uses american made steel and provides FREE knife maintinance for life.

Love that swiss tech got that one and then the fixed blade that matches. Love the color love the price however, Hate the names, can't remember them for the life of me. And the micarta on both of them were frayed at the ends and had to melt them off. Other then that awesome blades good features just wish the micarta was better looked after but for 40 bucks available at Walmart I can't be too mad. Also wish the folder was lefty friendly for the thumb disc.

Everything about this knife is great, except the terribly flimsy pocket clip. Needs an aftermarket clip to be absolutely perfect

Benchmades are priced like 50-100$ above their quality level. They are arguably not a premium knife anymore. Example: I paid 180$ for a Nimravous and Benchmade left the laser cut finish around the entire non sharpened circumference of the knife. Its not even a premium steel its 154cm. If you understand manufacturing you can just see in benchmades products the shortcuts they take. I think companies like Kershaw are higher quality for less money.

Gerber Chinese made knives are pretty junkie I bought one with the screws that hold the handle all sharpest razor but I had the knife for 2 months I couldn't take it back

Buck knives have that back safety too not to reliable

Nice to the point video. Couple of points though, the bolt is damascus titanium / timascus, and they are Chinese made, but that is no big issue as your observation of quality proves.

I just got my first Benchmade for $200. Then I bought Camillus for $20 in Walmart. Guess which one was sharper out of box? 😏 But, Benchmade is prettier to look at.

Noticed Swiss tech knives as Walmart recently that looked very nice. The name is all that kept me from buying. Perhaps I'll give one a try.

Every Benchmade knife is over priced by at least 75-100 dollars. That butterfly tax is ridiculous.

It takes the swiss to make a knife that can still only be described as "every bit as good" as a benchmade
