Peru Bus Hopping Part 1: Urus Floating Islands, Traditional Fishing & Arequipa Canyons & Volcanos
Join the Jumaa family for Part 1 of our epic bus-hopping adventure across Peru! We begin in Puno, exploring the fascinating floating islands of Lake Titicaca, where we'll meet the Uros people and learn about their unique way of life. You'll also see us try our hand at traditional reed fishing, a skill passed down through generations.
From there, we journey to the mystical Sun Island, an Incan treasure offering panoramic views over the lake. Next, we hop on a bus to Arequipa, the "White City," where we'll explore the famous Sillar Quarry and take in the dramatic views of the surrounding volcanoes, including El Misti and Chachani.
Experience the diverse landscapes, rich culture, and hidden gems of Peru as we kick off our bus-hopping adventure across this incredible country with Journeys with Jumaas!
