I've always wanted a Maxus like yours, but I never could find one while they were being made. I have a love for finely crafted wood stocks and bought an SX4 Silver 20 gauge last year, along with an SX3 composite for the wife. Last week, I got a Carbon fiber Sporting Maxus at my local gun shop that is like brand new. While not fine wood, the Carbon fiber treatment is flawless and looks great. The Maxus II looks like everyone else's semiautomatic now and really doesn't have the appeal of the original one to me. Having an extended magazine isn't a priority for me .

Question about the barrel selector - if you start in the OVER position and you pull the trigger once, the top barrel will fire. Now, if I pull the trigger again, the second, UNDER, barrel will fire? Or would I have to first move the barrel selector over to the UNDER position before I pulled the Trigger for the second time?

Just subscribed, I just bought one. Which was my second one. But I sold my first one and missed it big time. I have the same satup with red dot. Happy shooting from Canada.

Très bon fusil mais le speed loading il faut savoir l’utiliser il faut vraiment jetter la cartouche sèchement sinon la cartouche bloque et ne remonte pas. C’est un coup à prendre.

The original Maxus Ultimate is a classic, the Maxus II is a waterfowl outside Gun! Both are awesome; because it's a Browning!

It’s nice to see another leftie shooting a right handed gun ! I love the carbon fiber sporting and don’t want a 3.5” which I have to do to get a left handed model .

I am picking up one of these from my local gun shop. I have 10/22s, but I like the features on this, including tool-less field strip. A number of folks have complained that removing the Winchester sticker on the underside of the barrel was a pain, and at least one bloke said his barrel was not finished under the sticker. Did you have any issues, assuming yours came with a sticker? Very well done video, with enough info and no editorializing. And, brilliant shooting on hitting the two top pinholes!
