Yeah the G25/G27´s is a very nice introduction into FFB for racing games indeed it is and cost for the wheel, pedals and shifter is unbeatable imho, a very good place to start this hobby it really is.. But with that being said T500 or even the pricy CSW is a step up no doubt anbout that according to a lot of people active on sim forums who drive hours every single day, personally I would love to try them all to build my own unbiased opinion? All ove them side by side would be the way to go imo!

if only it could play xbox and pc... since that is an issue for me i ordered this week my fanatec GT2 with V2 pedals... maybe someday later i will get additionally the Thrustmaster wheel just for PC use and drifting and for sure the TH8RS

Maybe because you never tried Thrustmaster T500 RS... I have both, and since i bought the T500 RS didnt used the the G27 again. They are incomparable!

and is it usb cuz i don't think it will go on my gt experience so if it is a usb im gonna get it

nice wheel but dont like how the paddle shifters dont move with the wheel I wont be buying one due to that fact In some races you need to shift up or down the gearbox while under lock to lock Going to buy a G27 Csr elite wheel is way out of my price range Logitech are working on a new wheel thats going to be top of the bunch Go Logitech

@Nefus1988 helical gears and got rid of the sequential shifter since we had paddles... I say the t50 rs is a pretty good wheel though.. You could get a Trackstar for 1k and not get clutch/shifter... Hell, the CSR Elite alone cost 540$... get all the equipment and it easily runs 800$. You say it's not worth it, but everyone who has gotten a t500rs/CSR elite never look back at their old wheels...

@Texarmageddon Well it was three years since G27 got released and six since G25. If they only do a minor upgrade like last time I will be disappointed.

Meet Bob. Bob liked the Thrustmaster wheel so much he started saving a year ago when he first heard about it. Being poor, Bob will have to be happy pretending to play the latest driving games until he can save up for a console, a game and an LCD TV to play them on. Should be about 2 years. Poor Bob.

@DSDMovies You asked that question 7 months ago so I'm not sure if you got the answer yet or not; nevertheless the answer is no, there are no vibrations from impacts in RBR, only the simulation of wheel position

@MagicAyrtonforever I am aye, I ordered the G27 for the new Euro Truck Sim that's due out soon, then discovered there's so many more games out there you can use it with. rfactor, Race 07 to name a couple so i've ordered those too.

@antonw91 I think it is compatible as a stand alone shifter yes.. if the game supports another device (most do)

Is there any vibration from impacts in Richard Burns, or is it all just FFB, i.e. simulating the steering wheel position?

@eduardobellnar You are comparing this high end wheel with a toy? I know It´s expensive but It´s not targeting little kids, It´s like comparing a 1 million dollar Ferrari and make a list of how many cars you can get for that price.

@mrmichaelmw clutch is there just as reserve for gas pedal when you turn over in other position.

@ThPresidentsays I'm running an i5-760 with a HD5870 on a 120hz 23" LCD. The game is fairly easy to run if you turn off 2 pass shadow.

It's not my video but I run a stock i5 & 8800gt (card I bought for $200 3 years ago) and run everything high fine at 40fps, so if you're building a modern computer as long as you spend $200 on a graphics card you should be sweet.

What are your system specs? This looks amazing. I want to get into iRacing and am wondering how extreme I need to get when building a computer for it. Thanks!
