I'm autistic and I LOVE pacifiers

I have autism. Sensory rooms with trampolines, mats, tunnels, bubbles, balls, and much more toys and props are really fun! I used to experience those things, now I made my bedroom like a sensory room. But this time, with drawings, dolls (I only have a few), and video games

Im new to this channel, what's his back story? How old is he, all that stuff. My step son is non verbal autistic, I've never seen an autistic person use a pacifier so that's new for me. But I'm just curious about the dude, love watching channels like this!!

Public schools. Yay. I’m amazed that your son is doing so well despite these “behavioral issues.” Not because of him, but because of group oriented and results driven mainstream educators are. My son will be 15 and because of his diagnosis and lack of verbal skills even educators in a private school setting (who are admittedly new to him) don’t fully appreciate how intelligent he actually is. They will share epiphanies about his abilities during certain situations - and with certain people - and I just have to say ;with both sarcasm and validation “welcome to our world.”

Did you know you can buy larger pacifiers? They have adult pacifiers.

My sons future is unknown because he has microcephaly which could of also caused his autism. We are not sure if he got it from my Gene's cuz I'm an autistic adult and autism runs in the family or if he got it from his other condition. His micro has caused him a few issues. It's kind of hard not knowing what life will bring for ur kids.

Thanks you for sharing this! My son is also severely autistic, nonverbal, an elopement risk and is presently 14. We’ve had success traveling with him in the past but are presently taking a break while enduring puberty. Once we get through it I’m hoping we can travel as a family again. Like your son, ours loves to ride in vehicles (so long as they’re moving) and my hope is to go to several national parks and visit with family our west (we’re all the way east in PA.) Btw, we’ve actually been to WDW with him several times. It can be a wonderful experience but you really have to plan. While we don’t have an RV we have stayed in the cabins at WDW’s Timberline Campgrounds and apart from the 9pm fireworks are very quiet. They were a welcome refuge at midday and during the evenings.
