Thanks for the video however you leave out stuff like how hard it is to actually use this standing up with material that's gotta go much deeper for the button to get to while not often on a table it's very difficult to get these square enough to where when you press them that they don't get crooked and pop off on the 1st snap so there's some getting used to it for sure I'm using it to try to put some snaps on my Bimini on my boat without taking the Bimini off its frame is very difficult standing up in the air outside definitely not the same as doing it for practice on a box....

@@Mightydoobieroller if you have a voltmeter then you can diagnose the problem. It could be one of a dozen things, but my guess is you probably didn't crimp one of the plugs tight enough (make sure that the teeth wrap around each other like a small duct) or they need a tiny dab of solder after all. Also good to know is that speaker wire shouldn't be too thin. It typically comes in 16 gauge, thicker if you want to bridge larger distances.

Pliers...umm NO!! The correct description is Dykes Side Wire Cutter..the term Dykes came from linemen who shortened the description of the tool into a jargon of sort (D)iagonal (C)utter(S).. and No.. Not Plier cutter.. Diagonal Pliers.Yes, that's acceptable..why are they angled.. it's for small tight areas and angled incase your cut needs to be straight and fingers need the best grip possible.. honestly.. this girl gets half the proper description incorrect.. she's a real Helen Keller this girl 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I carry a small selection of wires with crimps either end - 1 with male crimps 1 with female crimps 1 with male and female crimps. This allows me to bypass switches when I’m fault finding. DISCLAIMER I never, never leave them in place. Switches are there for a reason, namely safety. This is purely part of a process of elimination to find a problem.
