Double Trouble: Two Whitetail Bucks in One Night!
An evening archery hunt on October 9, 2024, will be one we'll never forget. Sebastyan and Brock, his youngest brother, were able to double up on some amazing bucks here in Pennsylvania just a few hundred yards apart. A cold front came early this week and the deer were moving with them seeing a total of 8 bucks combined on this hunt.
Sebastyan had an action-packed hunt with multiple bucks including his chasing some doe around which led to his success. Brock was sitting on a green food source and got his shot at last light as his buck and a smaller buck came out to feed and was successful in harvesting his first buck.
This is a memory that we'll always remember and a story we'll get to share as the years go by. Hunting is what we love to do and being able to do it together as a family is something we will cherish forever.

There‘s another Wolf Rocks in Ogle Town it‘s just super hidden!
We did a hiking video on the John P Saylor trail that goes through the Wolf Rocks your talking about. Pretty cool place! Thanks for watching
I hiked this before, but I am planning on doing it again soon
It's a solid workout, thanks for watching!
@@alleghenyorigins yea i like that area i subbed as well
Hey, we appreciate that! It definitely helps us out, thanks for the support
@@alleghenyorigins yes sir no problem
That was super fun! Nice 10 pt! Brock, you ROCK!
It was an awesome hunt, thanks for watching!
Memorable Hunt!!
One we'll never forget!
Beautiful
Thanks for watching!
I love turtles
We saw a few big ones on our trip that day!
When I visit America again, this is where I would like to be.
Good choice!
Right after you shot a huge buck ran right to left
The chaos that happened after that shot is something i may never experience again. Thanks for watching!
They stock the Stony with finglering browns and bows twice a year. The state has a pdf on its website for fingerling stockings.
Thank you for the info and for watching!
I miss hunting big old fox squirrels I live a hour south of Erie now and haven't seen any where I'm at now but they do got a good bit of coal squirrels here witch is cool
Yeah we dont have very many black squirrels down our way. They are just as cool as the fox i my opinion. Thanks for watching!
Is there some kind of obsession with these guys having a camera shoved in front of their faces instead of showing the terrain and of course the game when it appears?
Just working on the craft and growing each year. Thanks for watching!
All stockers
Yeah appeared so that day, maybe a holdover or two. It's still a beautiful waterway that we will fish again. Thanks for watching!
Try to get the shot next time.
We are striving to bring some better footage each year. Thanks for watching!
Anyone who says this has never happened to them is either lying or hasn't been bowhunting very long. And people who say there is no such thing as "no man's land" are full of crap. Go get back out and get after him again. I bet he didn't go far, he'll be back. 🤙🏼
We're excited for the upcoming season this year. Time to build on lessons learned in the past. Thanks for watching!
Looking to do my first overnight here coming up shortly. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching! You will enjoy this trail especially this time of year
nothin like pssn in the woods
How bout it! Makes you feel like a free man
Where did you start and finish each day
We started off at the Tyrone exit of 99 and camped in the Rothrock State Forest after you float by where Spruce Creek meets the Little J. The second day we kayaked all the way to Petersburg. There is a launch right behind the Fire Hall. Hope this helps you out and good luck if you go on this adventure
Illegal to search for or retrieve a deer after hours without calling game commission
Thanks 👍🏼
I’ve been bow hunting pa for 30 years and never heard u can’t track a deer after legal shooting time… don’t think that’s true for pa
You catch them mostly on Walt’s worms?
Yes! Walt’s worm and Stonefly’s seemed to work best for me on this trip
Hello, I live in Connecticut and would love to get a fox squirrel. How far west do I have to go ?
Hey thanks for watching. Well most of the fox squirrels i have harvested have been in either the southern or western counties in PA. But from what im reading they do have them in eastern counties as well. Good luck on getting one!
That's great to know. Thanks for responding.🫡
No problem
I luve a hour south of Erie and don't see any when I lived in Butler pa I used to call in 5 to 10 a evening of hunting
Heading there in October, hoping for better luck than we had on our first time there last October. We had a tough time figuring it out
I have never fished Pine in the fall, but i hear it can be amazing! We usually are there in late May and the fishing is plentiful just about everywhere. I hope you have a great trip and dont give up on this river!
Are you anchored here?
Yes we were anchored for a bit in this spot
I have a stack of antlers, you g to give it a try🤷🏼♀️
Possibilities are endless! You just have to get a little creative with them
Fishing in my back yard! Looks like a pretty calm day. Too bad you guys didn't catch more big fish. Maybe next time you can go out and hit up the drop-off and catch something big.
We will definitely be back to fish it again soon! Beautiful place!
Nice Catches...TightLines!!!
Hey thanks! It was a blast fishing with there fishfinder crew
Back In The Day the late 70s and 80s I had vacation down there with my Uncle Ralph and Aunt Louise. We went out of Dicks Marina offshore for a 2+ hour trip and caught Vermillion, Red Snapper and Grouper. That Inlet back then could be such a dangerous place when going out or coming back in. Love it down there in the Low Country. Lots of great food in Murrels Inlet and the best was a Grouper sandwich with a side of Hushpuppies. Oh Man, Good Times there for sure. Tight Lines and we saw who caught that big old flounder. Great Catch
Where the inlet met the ocean was really rough seas that day but the fishing near the jettys was amazing. We loved it and cant wait to go again
Gorgeous
Most definitely!!
Absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤❤❤
How bout it!!
If your gonna film do better both shots were terribly filmed to be posted can't see shit dude
Wow. So many things wrong here! First and foremost you left a deer go to waste! Oh sure, you found it the next day. After laying all night with the guts in.
Why would you think the deer went to waste? We ate every piece of meat off that buck but thanks for watching!
That was one wild hunt the odds of two like that same spot Is crazy, good job man
Yeah it was definitely a hunt i will never forget and it just shows you how crazy hunting can be at times. Thanks for watching!!
@@alleghenyorigins totally agree it’s always something new!!
Love these vids! You guys should do another merch sale! Need me some orgin hoodies
Thanks for watching! We're hoping to do some hoodies when the seasons change
agree... I can always use a good hoodie!!
Can someone tell me what day this was in January?
January 6th, 2023. I keep a log and have a forecast spreadsheet for the river so I get an idea how often and when it runs. We have been down this thing more than anything though in the last ten years. Most recently we ran this in May and then now it needs rain.
Awesome video! Im from Armstrong county. Always good to see a fellow UA-camr from pa
Glad you enjoyed it! Definitely proud to represent the Keystone state, and we will be sure to check out your channel. Good luck this upcoming season!
You're gonna have to explain that choice of music.
You didn't like it Matt? Unfortunately we lost our audio on this hike and we are at the mercy of 'license free' options from UA-cam. We would love suggestions.
@@alleghenyorigins If you like this music then I can't help you.
@@mattfoley6082 thanks for the engagement!
Nice! THX!
Thanks for watching. It's a great trail!
Curious, Did you try the mouse? I've thought about it myself.
I did try it a few different times with no luck. Im going to take it bass fishing next time im out to get some more practice with it
Great stream
It really is hard to beat
great
It was a fine day in the PA Woods!
Nothing like a frosty morning in a tree stand in Penn's woods. Watching the woods come alive. The deer are an added bonus.Glad you found the old boy.
Looking forward to mornings like that here in a couple months. As i get older i appreciate the hunt more than the kill. Thank you for watching and good luck this season
Little warm for brookies no
This was from mid May, ideal brookie condition's.
Great place, planning to camp there. Any advice, do we have to reserve in advance?
It is a great experience! The sites are first come first serve. My only advice is if you are kayaking or canoeing across to the campground early morning or later in the evening seem to be the best time to do it. Middle of the day there is a decent amount of boat traffic but they all were respectful to us while paddling. Enjoy your experience!!
True blue line, love it!
Appreciate it!
that shot at 2:45 was a beauty!
For sure. Really shows off the beauty of these little guys.
I really enjoy fishing for brookies on light fly rods. That third brookie was incridible.
Yeah it's always a good time and thank you for watching!
Leave my fish alone, us locals don't touch the fish
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
You rookie
Thanks for watching!
First off your fishing on the wrong side
Thanks for watching!
