You’re so beautiful 😍
You are my kind of person ❤ thanks for being so considerate and especially for being vegan! 🌱 💕
Thanks, Robert. You, too!

So sad! If we don’t take care of the animals we going to ended up seyeing them on a museum.
Singer should pay dearly
How? I think is too late for arrest the people responsible. The only way is that the Singer company faces bankruptcy and then disappear forever and not given the chance to be an online company.
Still around.
You are confusing them with the Pilated Woodpecker.
rip
Beautiful. Cottonwoods look more alive than other trees.
Prayers we find some still around
Where? When?
The ivory-billed woodpecker was called the Lord God Bird for a good reason. They stood a whopping 22 in tall,, and had some of the most striking plumage, making it very obvious. Common sense mandates we look at this with a clear eye: knowing the bird was so conspicuous, has not been verified for over SEVENTY years -- plus the fact we've made forays into every last inch of America --- what evidence is there that the bird still exists? We have to face facts: the Singer Sewing Machine Company eliminated the IBWP's habitat Add to that the fact that overhunting and zealous collectors killed off the last few. There are no more ivory-billed woodpeckers. I just try to enjoy the Pileated as much as I can whenever I see one or two.
@@lucymckernan3210 In 2004 there was a video sighting that came out, the woodpecker was declared critically endangered after it instead of extinct.

Hi, I'm curious where this is...
Good
Kirk: what do you mean by your reply?
Is this at ijams nature center in Tennessee? Kinda looks like something there lol
Yes it is.
I am very interested in finding out the true provenance of these taxidermied ivory-billed woodpeckers. If you read the plaque, it says unknown provenance. Very dubious.
These accusation are false and slanderous. Get your story straight. My husband did shoot this dear, he is not hunting this year. This was not his son. It was not shot on our property. It was shot by a legal hunter on another property. The dear did not come the direction you imply nor did it run from our property. DO you realize you are no better then those you accuse of as being bullies and the hunters are not baiting the deer under the power lines. and We do not mow the area under the power the line to bait the deer. We happen to like neat yards and have mowed there for the past 20 years. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT AND LEAVE OTHERS ALONE!!!!!
If you have a problem with someone falsely accusing you then should go after the man who pulled me over while I was walking on the path that day told me that your property is where the hunting was going on that day. There's a tree stand right there on your property (and, ironically bunch of no hunting signs because your family wants the deer all to yourselves, is if you can't comprehend that other people have a right to just watching them and leaving them alone). You have a freaking tree stand 100 feet from where people are walking. Mitch hunts ON THE GROUND not even on an elevated platform as required. My friend and I can't even walk down that public path and look up at a tree or a bird on your property without Timothy yelling at us and trying to intimidate us. Mitch humiliated me at a council meeting 2016 in front of everybody. And when I went to vote a few years ago at Hillside cruelly rubbed it in my face: "Hahaha we killed two bucks already hahaha." I see your whole family as a group of bullies. Gruesome cruel inhumane bow hunting of sentient beings makes that clear.
Need I remind you, you are the one posting this making you culpable....
@@ninasmolinski5613 Culpable? For what? Are you still trying to intimidate?
This happens a lot with outdoor property work during nesting season. Poor guys weren't expertly trained in bird removal and IDing protected species, and maybe thought they'd be fired for delaying work. They really should've been told exactly what to do about birds.
Oh those Metropark killers are always thinking up new ways to torture and slaughter our wildlife every year. I'm really surprised that they have enough brain cells to be this creative. Although, I suppose their lust for blood and killing wakes up the their tiny little brains. I hope the videographer will do a follow up video showing all the many blood pools left behind after a mass kill. One year one of the flunkies was putting kitty litter over the blood. People need to start speaking out about this disgusting travesty.

No expectation of privacy when in public. I laugh when they try to say that you need their permission.
Thank you Lucy. People just don't care. It's disgusting.
Are you sure this wasn't a male turkey? In the springtime the males are super protective of their territory in the beginning of mating season. They are often very aggressive and have been known to menace and peck people in order to chase them away. It was probably very annoyed at your presence and that of the car. It was claiming the area- waiting patiently for you to leave. It may be a hen searching for a nesting site. I can't tell the difference between male and female wild turkeys- I think the male has more color and plumage. I'm sure this turkey has a story to tell the other turkeys, at any rate.
