Hi Gabrielle, are there different versions of this book? I'm only curious. I bought my copy from Amazon I'd say 2 to 3 weeks ago and I don't have a section to write notes, like I see on your version. Thank you so much for this devotional. I had been so tormented in my mind with fear. Previously on medications for mental health disorders. I truly thought I was crazy. One day I heard God's voice saying I would never allow you to go crazy. And that gave me hope that what I may be experiencing is a fact but not the ending or the truth behind the situation. Thanks for posting these because today was a day where I just didn't understand the devotional and this allowed me to gain insight. God bless you.

Gabby, you keep saying that Jesus did not come to die on the cross. I wish that you would rephrase! He absolutely came to die on the cross as a propitiation for our sins (no one comes to the father except through Him). We cannot get into Heaven without our sins being forgiven, it’s all about sin, the whole Bible! He also came SECONDARILY to bring us into the new kingdom, this part of the redemption is the “working out of our salvation”. Both are very important but unless Christ has died and sins are forgiven, there is no salvation to work out!

A genuine question: how do we really discern the benefits of therapy while understanding the Holy Spirit and the healing power of Jesus Christ? Been in therapy for awhile and I understand that there are measures in place that do not allow faith to be really integrated into therapy. Coming across your page is refreshing. Yet, I get confused because I didn’t see the danger of inner child work as a Christian. Was just looking to get my healing while not trying to fall into modalities that could conflict with faith.

Hey! There are no words to convey the way it feels like my whole life experience was shaped in a way that I was meant to stumble upon your channel. I believe God sent your video to my fyp on TT. The topics you speak of are the EXACT ones I’ve been trying to marry and figure out for years! Aka mental/physical health + Christianity but through a biblical lense! I felt so frustrated because there are so many topics that have a little bit of truth or sense sprinkled into them but never enough, never wholly or perfectly. Because of my rocky history with Christ, I am a beginner in this topic. All the ups and downs definitely stunted the growth I could have had but I am thankful that He never gave up me. You have no idea the excitement I have for having found your channel. Only God knows haha. I just wanted to share that and let you know your channel is an answer to my prayers so Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Here’s a question? Would a miracle be necessary if our faith and beliefs were being used daily.

I don’t know if you’ll see this comment, but I really struggle with the concept of Hell. Jesus talks multiple times about the “outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.” This really disturbs me, I would love to hear how you interpret that part of the teachings.

Thissssssssss is so good. Was just talking to Him because I kept repeating to Him how old experiences made me feel. How now that similar things are happening whilst my spiritual sight has been activated by Him, it is very difficult for me to let go of those perceptions and beliefs. This kept me in this loop of experiencing the same thing over and over again. It feels as if I now have to give up the old perspectives and beliefs to experience similar scenarios with the knowing that He got my back and that He can be trusted. That exchange was with resistance but I know it's worth letting go of old mindsets.

This helps a lot! I’m confident that I agreed with that statement somewhere along the way (the almost truth statement) I also understand that I couldn’t achieve that. I can barely take my thoughts captive! Thank you for that information! I’m here for the knowledge! When I was little I had a trauma experience and since i didn’t know how to deal with it I enclosed myself and basically was left with my limited thinking, creating a fear based life living in my head. At some point i think kindergarten I told myself I didn’t understand anything fear took over and every year it grew. So I told myself that I could never learn anything and I was not smart, i could never understand. That was the start of my fearful existence and negative thinking. My prayer is to be renewed there. It’s been such a struggle to study or even read and gain knowledge that I end up fighting with my thoughts!

I did your challenge in January. I’m back at it, on day 2. I’m pretty sure I had many thoughts in the last 5 months to go do it again. I didn’t listen to those thoughts and I kept circulating and being stuck. I’m still frozen. Your journey is different than mine but so similar. I am really struggling to even know how to study but I started writing everything you say as a starting point. ❤ I’m so exhausted from spinning in circles yet I can’t give up even when I want to. I know it’s not me. There’s more He has in store for me than i could imagine for myself! One day my hope is to share how this and God’s work through you and His work in me has changed my life ❤
