One place I didn’t visit in my time there and ran out of time this visit. It’s on my list for next time. Views I can imagine are incredible.

On your bucket list for next time 😊 also visit the castle in Arricife and the isla de femina (the blue lagoon area) and the old harbour area is beautiful too. There is also a beautiful park on the front of Arricife overlooking the sea views. Then there is the huge shopping centre which is further been extended, The open mall. I know my way around Lanzarote better than I know my own city of Dublin 😂😂😂😂

Hehe. Thats great. We had a shopping trip on our list at the shopping centre but not enough time. We took our son to ride the camels instead but next time for sure. 😀

Oh your son will love the grand hotel and the castle ect.. Another reason for you to return at some stage 😅😊

Keep the good job Been to Corallejo in Fuerteventura not recently though so if I am not mistaken there is a ferry connection between Puerto del carmen and Corralejo ? If yes probably it will be nice to visit for a day Corrralejo to see if it changed

@@kyriakoskaplanis5227 ​​⁠Unfortunately the ferry from Puerto Del Carmen has stopped and only available from Playa Blanca. Still manageable for a day out.

Hi there…I’ve a few nightlife ones coming up soon. It’s very busy in the early evenings and can be busy until around midnight. But depends on the area and what type of nightlife you want. There are some live music venues spread around the resort along with bars with sporting events and entertainment. La Ola is also popular at night.

@@maryhession7501 if you are coming from the old town direction I'm afraid the hill coming back is very steep even if you cut along past spar. the other way is fine down the side of Dino, small hill but nothing major. as I said would stay again but get a taxi back. that's what we done most times especially at night after a stroll. going to PDC in 5 weeks can't wait. Gloria izaro club this time at the top of another hill.😂

Unless this has changed recently there is the option to travel with Lineas Romero from Puerto Del Carmen. I've used them previously so would be a shame if the service had stopped.

Lineas Romero still runs the water bus taxi to Puerto Calero from old town harbour, and still operates the bigger ferry from the bigger harbour at playa blanca over to futertuventua and Los losbos island, they also do trips to la gratisicoa but they leave from the north of the island in Orsola, my spelling here are most likely wrong of some of these places 🤔😊👍

We really enjoyed the apartment…granted we were out a lot but in the afternoons, it was ideal to still have the sun if we needed on the balcony or just relax on the other side and enjoy the pool view with a drink. Dave has a great channel and I enjoy their videos. I’ve never met Dave but have messaged and he told me he was a rep. Small world lol. I think we worked at different times tho.

@@johnbailey4618 Oh very nice. I know the Villa Alondras. A good quiet location but within easy access to the old town. Playa Blanca has a lovely walk along the promenade now from the port with lots of bars/restaurants and also has lovely views of Fuerteventura and Lobos from there. I may join you next time in changing to Playa Blanca, so I am close to pop over to Corralejo for the day. Have a great time when you go and thank you for watching.

Thanks for the video. We’re just back from PDC, stayed in Fariones Apartments. We didn’t visit La Cascade but did have an excellent steak the “My Kitchen by Julius” in the old town, would recommend a visit. 👍

The reception are very helpful in calling you a taxi, and I regularly took one to the Old Town area which was around 4-5 Euros. I would say that it would be around 3 Euros approx to get you to Playa Grande...but just bear in mind that the taxi's get busy around peak times so you may have a little wait. When I say peak times, this is mainly around the evening for people going out for meals.

I'll definitely keep watch as im considering booking a 1 bed next time, just for that extra bit of space, but in fairness the studio apartments were also lovely and clean and big enough certainly for 1 or 2 people. Im 65 years old now so may go for a ground floor 1 bed,save the old legs 😂❤​

Personally I prefer the same as you but I’ve also stayed in Matagorda and enjoyed it, but always getting myself towards the centre and also the old town. Thanks for watching 😀

Came back yesterday and I disagree the main strip in PDC was rowdy full of tacky pubs and karaoke bars. Matagorda far far better
