Making hair for puppets
This is a combination of a few different techniques I've seen, with a little bit of my own trial and error thrown in for good measure!

Thank you for this! I have a puppet/doll with hideous hair, but every other tutorial I found needed a sewing machine to make the wefts of hair. This is super simple and just as good-looking when complete

Thank you! I am trying to get ideas for how to make long hair for female characters and I am going to give this technique a try. btw, the knot you are using is called a lark's head knot. I also have seen it refered to as a cow hitch as well.

This is incredibly helpful! I'm making my first ever puppet and I was at a total loss how to tackle the hair. Thank you for all the details and helpful tips :)

It's much more complicated than I thought. Thanks for explaining, I really appreciate it.
