Excited to announce my debut album 'Liquidub: First Flow' is now live! A journey through uplifting dub sounds and acid vibes. Stream it now and let me know your favorite track!
Dub Dub techno is my favorite music style. I am trying to develop my own signature sound with influences from Techno and Acid house. I enjoy the proces of learning, experimenting and dawless jamming very much and I am getting closer and closer where I want to be.
My first album "Liquidub: First Flow" with live recorded dawless tracks shows these different styles very well, with a difference in nuance per track.
I hope you enjoy my live jams and that I can give you some inspiration with this channel.

Dear listeners, I am trying to develop my own style of dub techno with influences from techno and also acid house. I enjoy the proces of learning, experimenting and jamming very much and I think I am getting closer and closer where I want to be. All my jams are dawless, but I know that if I want to record and master full tracks at a certain moment I have to take the next step to a hybrid setup ...

What are you using for your rack system? Great session BTW!
@@JoshuaNeedham Thank you Joshua! I'm using a rack system from Jaspers Stands. Good quality, very solid.
Sounds great and very catchy!
@@66superfly Thank you very much!
Nice jam and nice setup. Dub is earing simple but not so easy to cook , this one sound deep 👌
@@jeanmk57 Thank your Jean!

@jesseukkonen Thank you very much Jesse!
Hi Jesse, I've come across your timeline several times in the past week. I really like your experimental style. Followed back!
@@marcelsmoorenburg wow that's awesome to hear, I appreciate it! I picked your jam from my timeline as well, the algorithms have spoken 🪄😅
@jesseukkonen ... And we too, thanks to the algorithm. 😉 Have a nice Sunday!

@RonSmoorenburg-LIfeisaction Thank you brother. It would be great if you can use one of my tracks for a trailer or fighting scene.
echt gaaf broer
Dankjewel broer! Ik heb binnenkort mooi nieuws over een release! 😉
Nice one!
Thanks Bobo! I was hesitant to post this because I'm not completely satisfied. But there are some good elements in it that I like, so I posted it anyway. Not every jam is perfect. Actually, not even any jam, but it is a great way to develop and record ideas.
keep it up!
Thank you Jon!
Full elektron setup, wow! Good sound, great job 🔥
Thank you! Honestly, the Octatrack mk2 and Digitakt II are still underused, but they will get their place. I tend to explore the boxes one by one or depending on the project and at the moment there is a lot to discover in Digitone II and I am also discovering the modulation options in Analog Four mk2. I will get there, one step at a time.
wowwww the power off elektron machines
Thank you! Honestly Octatrack mk2 and Digitakt II are underused till now. I tend to explore the boxes one by one or depending on the project and at the moment there is a lot to discover in Digitone II and I am also discovering the full potential of the modulation options of the Analog Four mk2. @@RonSmoorenburg-LIfeisaction Dankjewel broer. Stap voor stap... 😉
Nice work~
Thank you Rob!
Ivr got some old tracks we made a long time ago, musics pretty good, sound shite though, fancy a collab?
Nice that you suggest working together, Terry. At the moment I mainly want to develop myself first and further discover my own musical style. I will probably purchase a DAW next year to take the next step towards hybrid, but without daw it remains fun and spontaneous. For the time being, it will mainly remain with jams or sharing ideas. It's a shame that your ideas were left in the drawer. It's quite exciting at first to share your music with the world, but my experience is that you mainly get positive feedback. You can only learn from it and thereby develop yourself further.
@@marcelsmoorenburg Ive been in the music game for 25 years mate, had many tracks released under different names, music on tv shows, Mostly stuff we hated tbh, but it was a job. I know all about it.. I like your sound, keep it up..
@terryhigson434 My excuse, I didn't know that. It's very nice that, as an experienced producer, you take the time to respond. How wonderful that you have released good music professionally for major platforms, but it is annoying that you were not completely behind it musically. Do you still have a profession in the music industry or do you now have other work and has it now become more of a hobby in which you can express your own style that is close to yourself?
@terryhigson434 For me it is really a hobby in addition to my busy job, in which I can completely relax. When I listen to music myself - mainly dub techno - I'm already thinking about new ideas. I also really enjoy experimenting with my few semi-modular synthesizers. These help me to think out of the box and improvise.
@@marcelsmoorenburg We followed the money for a while, then, the money dropped out the bottom of the market, cdj's, mp3's, torrent sites, killed it all, nobody bought vinyl anymore. Virtually impossible to make a living at it these days..
Great jam and it really is nice listening to it ☺️
Thanks for your support Bobo!
nice
Thank you Terry!

Hi mate, have you got your live sets somewhere not on UA-cam? Spotify or Soundcloud? Just wonder coz I wouldn’t mind listen to this by not having UA-cam running if you know what I mean… love to go for a night walk on the beach and listen to it endless through earbuds. You got a decent set up… I’m just starting creating music and love it
Thank you very much for your positive reaction. I am glad you like it. I am experimenting with soundcloud. At this moment I have uploaded this track, but more to come. Luister naar Dub techno live jam - 06 van IJsselgein op #SoundCloud on.soundcloud.com/vJxDyQjuHjEXwV8u6
@ cool thanks man, I’ll be checking it out …
nice one ;!)
Thank you Joachim!
it is groovy from the first second, and i could say the same about all of your previous jams that i've listened to. about one year ago, my sorry ass thought that i could create something similar with a Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 ,so i bought one, but still, to this day, i haven't used it. truth be told, i easily got overwhelmed by all the equipment stuff i had no clue about and quickly ditched the idea after i figured it out that fl studio is also a bit complicated. but i'd like to give it another shot and i'd like to ask you if you could recommend some budget gear i should look into, so i could get started? there's simply too much information on the internet and i don't really know how to filter it, as i have no experience
Thank you Alexandru! I think it's important to learn the basics about (subtratcive) synthesis first. An affordable way to start, is the Roland Aira compact series. www.roland.com/nl/promos/aira_compact/
As a next but more expensive step I would recommend the Elektron Digi series (Digitakt II en Digitone II). The og's ofcourse are way cheaper on the second hand market and are still very good.
@@marcelsmoorenburg thank you! i will look into them :) in the meanwhile just keep it up, when you gonna have parties either in bucharest or copenhagen imma be there :D
@AlexandruMusetoiu Thank you very much for your support Alexandru. I keep practising and learning and maybe a live set between now and two years will be possible. Who knows... 😉
Nice! What stand are you using for your synths? Jaspers?
@@nicolasgrosjean4224 Thank you! The stands are indeed va Jaspers. Good build quality.
Hey you go out of key just a little bit. Other than that this is jamming! I love it. Just learn how to lock those keys in place.
@universalvibe72 Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate that. I am not an accomplished musician and am still learning. I use notes A and D for the bassline and Amin and Dmin for the chords. What I understand is that the chords are not exactly in the same scale. There is a harmonious scale instead of a natural scale. I think the chords themselves sound nice together. Can you indicate where you think things are going wrong? I'm trying to understand.
@marcelsmoorenburg sounded fine to me 😎👌
