Reject Gracie till they stop exporting "creonte culture" an penalising autistic people who trained the same as everyone else, for speaking up. I started my journey with my now black belt brother. I watched him grade to purple and I was just white belt. I won competitions for the Gracie Brands Stats. Represented the brand in the cage and put my ass on the line. I never spoke up about grades. I was talking to poppleton one day and he said "You journey is different". That was when I knew I was not being equally graded or treated fairly. My journey should have been with my brother. Shame on Gracie Barra for never putting this right between the 2 brothers and driving a wedge between us! Time for wholesale change, time for Sports England to recognise the poor management and the way some are made into villains for having the story they have. A decade later, another Gracie gym invited me to train and stopped me training, because of my story. A piece of my life that will never be right and I have no dialogue with them to resolve it. They seem to care about "helping peoples mental health" but then blame them when the organisation leaves the autistic ones behind!

Am I allowed, to travel the world and do Jiu-Jitsu? I am a mynority veteran and Jiu-Jitsu is the only thing that I am allowed to do. I received a letter from the VA about things that you have to tell them about claim work with the federal government, it is not worth it then and I am exploited. Changes of location ie. Caretaker in house, and major hospitalizations and crimes. I don't have those but I get very depressed. Jiu-Jitsu is the only thing that helps...... I was a instructor for about sixteen years and had a difficult time getting promoted I would train twice a day some times watch Jiu-Jitsu non-stop always training fitness. These last few months have been really rough on me, I was so depressed. Sometimes I feel pressure from other services and it makes me contemplate the importance of my life. Like they gossipped so much, they believe or believed that I don't know what's going on ext. I do not want to have to tell them everything I am doing all the time where I am going and my plans. I don't like knowing that I went to the war, to have people use presumptively fake names, profile me and impede on my freedom, I question what true freedom is. Can I train jiujitsu and live without a problem or will they intentionally give me a problem until something else negivite happens? It is not every body so please it is just frustrating to me to come back and have the pressure. I want to be healthy but it is such a unique thing these days......

My son is autistic and have him in jiu-jitsu. He has grown so much but it was such a challenge. He didn't want to engage with the other students and had trouble focusing during class. The important thing is to keep going and look for small victories. I tell my son " one grain of sand at a time and pretty soon it will become stone". Be well my brother and remember that jiu-jitsu is for everyone.
