That may also explain why Tao can’t fly He didn’t learn everything from Shen, or rather refused to listen to everything he said He was also more materialistic as he was willing to use weapons when he wanted to Tien was more of an ideal student as for a time he absorbed everything Shen taught him while expanding himself Tao was indeed a beast, and it’s hard to think what he was capable of if he didn’t become a Cyborg
@@christophersanchez7731 honestly I think Tao could still be strong as hell if he actually trained. I think even after Tien beat his ass he was still too proud to actually train under anyone. I think it’s also why Tao is very sparing with the dodon ray, it’s probably Shen’s technique and he doesn’t like to admit to needing any of his techniques because of his pride. I bet he can fly too but just chooses not to. It’s probably also why he doesn’t use Crane style Kung Fu even though he was originally trained by Shen who does almost exclusively.

This was that turning point in Dragon Ball where because of Goku’s death, Tao Pai Pai took over as the “protagonist,” so to say… Commander Red, Officer Black and what remained of the Red Ribbon Army continued to take over the world. But they soon had to call upon Tao’s aid again once King Piccolo and his minions arose to compete with them for world domination. Tao endured intense training under Korin and drank of the Ultra Divine Water, defeated King Piccolo… but years later had to battle Junior, King Piccolo’s reincarnation.

It’s my only running theory tho bc 1 minute videos get claimed and 55 minute compilations don’t. Idk for sure though.

@@ljpal18 idk bc we never do end up seeing Crane fight in dragon ball. His little brother almost killed goku and only failed bc his dodon ray was blocked by a dragon ball. It’s never really specified how strong Crane is relative to other characters but he’s probably at least as strong as Roshi at this point, and krillin and goku would have a hard time taking him on even at this stage.
