I guess you're not doing the assignments i've told you 8 months ago! But it's alright sincr you're still a beginner LETS HOP ON TO IT! Firstly your main goal is to punch! (Obviously) but heres the catch which is FLOW! keep mind of this since i'm gonna mention it all throughout the lesson Flow is where kinetic energy releases from its potential energy, to put it simply. A guitar string would be in it's stationary position (Potential energy) IF AND ONLY IF you haven't plucked or strummed the strings (Which that would be kinetic energy!) Why do I say these things? it's because of your POTENTIAL ENERGY NOT FULLY BEING TRANSFERRED ENOUGH! If you were to move your bike just by pushing off the ground there would be LESS ENERGY! which would probably be the result of you going to fall off your bike. BUT! if you were to push and PEDAL OFF YOUR BIKE! You would see that theres MORE POWER! AND STABILIZATION! WITH THE HELP OF PEDALING! and pedaling is a part of the BIKE'S BODY!! In conclusion YOU HAVE TO TWIST AND TURN EM HIPS🗿🗿🗿 No. Seriously you have to. You have to twist your upper torso to the punch! that's quite literally it! 2. KICKS! If you still remember 8 months ago (You probably don't) I made a comment about the problem with your kicks, And gee. It downgraded from a 4/10 to a 2/10 VERY DRASTIC. You'd probably say that COACH CAT!! WHATS THE PROBLEM NOW!?!?! Well it's your FOOTING! When you plant your left foot on the ground and swing your right foot into the bag...YOU'RE LOSING BALANCE OVER IT!!! The reason why Kickboxers, Muay Thai Practitioners, And TKD Competitors have EXCELLENT SKILL OVER THEIR KICKS! IS BECAUSE.......OF YEARS EXPERIENCE! Haha so funny (Laugh.) Anyhow aside from my joke, Your hands is becoming a huge problem when kicking, IT'S TOO OPEN! Yor left hand is not swinging the opposite side as your right! THEY'RE BOTH GOING IN THE SAME DIRECTIONS!! But whats the issue with it?! What most people don't know is that whenever you kick with your upper body LEANING FORWARD DISRUPTS THE FLOW!!! AND BALANCE!!! GASP!?!? SO CRAZY RIGHT!?!? Kiddin. It's an easy fix don't you worry! Kicking is like our best tool for dealing destructive damages to not only people but doors, Trees, HELL EVEN A DAMN BAMBOO TREE! Now the simple fix is pretty simple Imagine flicking a light switch on, What do you see? Well there are two switches almost similar to a lever! If one part of the lever is PUSHED DOWN THE OTHER ONE GOES UPWARDS! When you place a BIGGGGGGGGGG ROCK! Next to a seesaw in the playgrounds THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SEESAW WOULD GO UPWARDS DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE OTHER SIDE WHICH HAS THE BIGGGGGGG ROCK! Now lets put that to the test! First when you kick, Try moving your left hand on the opposite side while the right hand swings just besides your kick! While doing that YOU TILT YOUR UPPER TORSO BACKWARDS!!! NOW THE FLOW OF YOUR KICK IS DIRECTED TO THE BODY PART THAT IS MOVING WHICH IS THE KICKKKK!!!🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖 (Don't forget to rotate your hips alongside your kick okay?) FINALLY.....AFTER AN HOURS WORK OF TYPING WE GET TO THE LAST LESSON! 3.NEUTRAL AND DEFENSIVE POSITION!!!! before that lets make a pop quiz WHO IS STRONGER!?! THE RHINO OR THE HIPPO!?! well go and reply below this comment!, back to the lesson. WHICHH ISSSSS NEUTRAL AND DEFENSIVE POSTIONSSSSS. Hypervigilance is the feeling of being on guard, Now i want you to pick ANY DEFENSIVE STYLE AND WE CALL THAT BEING VIGILANT!! Now the Neutral postion, Is where you reset all your moves and be in a more comfortable relaxed state where you can go calculate whether to defend or ATTACK! Now why do i say this!? IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT TREATING THE BAG AS AN OPPONENT OF YOURS!!!! WHEN YOU PUNCH, EXPECT A COUNTER AND DEFEND!! WHEN YOU'RE IN A NEUTRAL STATE YOU EITHER ATTACK OR DEFEND THE UPCOMING PUNCHES AND KICKS! and the reason why is because being neutral actually helps us accumilate POTENTIAL ENERGY! So do these drills JUMP ROPE! RUNNING SIDESTEPPING TKD FRONT AND BACK STEPS Thats ALL FOLKS, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
