Why copy a bad style? It only works for him because he has the genetics, his body is literally made for fighting but everybody who understands fighting wouldnt train that way.
I feel you. However I aspire to have a powerful right or left hook & become a great kick boxer, like Alex. I've also started training at a really late age like Alex plus he's one of my favorite fighters in the UFC so I'm inspired by him 💪
@@bandobabyhovmtv beeing inspired and copying someone is not the same thing, although they say imitation is the greateat for of flaterry i dont believe that its the right Path for someone who wants to become his own man, there is a fighting style in you that is suitable to you just like Alex has found his you need to found yours, its a great way to start off imitating your Idol but you should evolve the style and make it into your own or making your own from scratch from the techniques you already know and want to aquire in the Future.

First up, there's this issue of not twisting the hips and legs enough when throwing kicks. You've got to really twist that supporting foot to generate torque and power in your kicks. Otherwise you’re not doing much. Then, there's the problem of putting too much pressure on your front foot. It's all about balance. If you're leaning too far forward, you'll lose stability which may lead you to trip and fall on your face like a crackhead and you won't be able to move around as freely. Another thing is your guard. If your hands aren't up to protect your face and your elbows aren't tucked in to protect your liver, kidney , you're leaving yourself wide open for attacks (i know your on a bag but still). watch out for overextending your strikes. i know that alot of people started punching through your target cause of the video with mike mostly same goes for me but If you throw a kick or punch too hard without control, you'll end up off-balance and open to get punched or trip over and fall on your face like a crackhead And kneel down a little more.

I train Muay Thai and I’m gonna say, those are pretty decent kicks, I’d just recommend if your doing Muay Thai kicks, to angle them so your kneecap is facing horizontal. And maybe work on balance a little more.

My friend Its pretty good for a beginner 5/10 But here are some of my tips for you if you like: 1. Stay relax. Staying loose would help you to throw things faster (including punching and kicking) and speed is good (momentum + weight = power) 2. Move with a purpose. Right now you are pretty much just putting some random movement into your shadowbox without a purpose, you should try to box yourself instead (If you are the opponent what would you do?, how would you react -> what will you do to counter it ?) 3. Protect yourself at all time. I can help but notice you let your hand down and telegraph a lot when you were throwing kicks and punches, is it not a healthy habit, your hand should be around eyes or around your cheeks bone at most time to protect your head (this can also improve your speed because distand from face->face should be shorter than the distand form waist->face or chest->face) PS: Defend the front, not side of your head 4. Snaping the kick. For now you are leading your kick with your ankle which made your kicks feels slow, stiff and dont have a lot of power in it. Instead drive and adjust your kick with your hip and knee and i promise your speed and power will improve a lot! 5. Have FUN ! Nobody like to learn stuff if their mind is not in a right place so stay relax, push yourself to limits but dont go overboard, stay safe! And i promise you will progess faster than ever Good luck with your journey !

To pracrice getting your body weight into the kick you can try to stop your kick when your shin hits the bag and from that position you sould be able to still push the bag back hard with your shin, if this foesnt feel confortable then you need to rotate your body/hip more during the kick

THERE WE GOOO! keep at it! its a 4 now! (No puns intended) If you twist the hips faster you'll master those kicks But the only thing holding you back is your arm movement, if you see other pro Muay thai fighters movement is your arms! they attack and defend swiftly thats because their left arm is always in a defensive position covering the head And another mistake i see is..Remember about your backfoot needs twisting? you also need balance aswell. take a closer look at your video and you will notice that you are bringing your body downwards which ofc will make ur whole center of gravity be unstable SO WATCH OUT FOR THAT! And the kick part, you are doing okay but you need to shove your whole kick into the bag, Thats because Muay Thai fighters not only train their shins but they train to break others. so try kicking a bit more powerful in the bag Then swiftly try and go back in a defensive postion using your backfoot as support
Oh and btw theres some hate comments that will try to bring your motivation down but remember your world is different from theirs DON'T LET THAT GET TO YOU ALRIGHT! (P.S Try buying a jumping rope, so that now only you burn calories and lose fat you will also learn how to use rhythm as your fighting advantage!)

Look, I watched like 10 videos of you practicing and sparing and you need to do few things. Get more muscle and transfer that fat to muscle. You can only do so much with technique when the muscle you have doesnt support its weight, for every muscle do at least 10 hard sets a week. Think like back,shoulders,legs,chest. Watch tutorials in technique, i seen you do the same videos for 8 months without improvement and thats just strategy mistake, you practice but you dont practice the perfect technique because you dont know it , when you learn the proper mechanics you will be a lot stronger even if you put less effort into it (Think just punching with arm 100% of the strength and then full body 50%, it will still be stronger) When punching you dont turn at all and this should be your focus for the next 3 months at least, the way you turn is as if your shoulders and torso were sewed together and the rotation is on the back foot (think knee rotating forward to face your opponent and also your back side of the hip facing the opponent so you end up square to the opponent). Only after that your arm leaves the position close to your body, so rotation first then arm starts flying(watch the spear throwers to get what im talking about) watch some great power punchers with a basic style.(So not mike tyson, more like wilder). Your legs are waaay too close think at least little bit wider then your shoulders, that way you are more grounded you have more power in the rotations and its easier to jump backwars or forwards depending if you are setting up a combo or getting away from one(Think pushing yourself from the front foot without leaning backwards just staying vertically with your body, that way you are still ready in position to punch after you land on your feet) never turn away or spin from your opponent, this is basic beginner mistake and it will cost you big time (dont wanna get knocked out ) When you end up with the opponent too close you want to push him back or push yourself from the front foot outside the range so you can reset yourself. (Lil Bro Tries To K.O Me! (Day 3 Sparring 🥊) 0:13 your never wanna do that because the experienced fighter would just continue punching (he is still there you need to get out, and not by turning away)

When you are making your guard to kick try to swipe down with your left hand as you pivot for more upper torso rotation like your shoulder you have the pivot down it's just the upper body

@@bandobabyhovmtv "top covered"; inside knuckles (of fingers) loosely positioned at jaw line, to block any blows to head or face,....elbows tucked loosely toward ribcage, to block any blows to the body. The term 'loosely' is necessary for the mobility between striking offensively and blocking defensively. NEVER COMPLETELY STILL!! Flexibility develops the ability to separate leg/hand offense and body defense.

I'll be blunt and say these kicks needs improving aswell as the back foot The you kick is going upwards not going in the sideway movement. The back foot on the other hand isnt really twisting, whenever we kick we would always twist our back foot for more speed and power And you're always off balance too. Npt keeping your guard up is a huge mistake when doing muay thai And this is the most important part ALWAYS twist your body sideways too overall with your form right now is 3/10 needs improving but with a bit more practice and good kinetic energy transfer you could improve your kicks by 9 but overall 3/10 keep improving bud!
