Looks good Bevan
Nice one Bevan, what do you do with the horns and meat
@@garymacgregor7656 the meat is all diced up for indies food and the skull and horns are on my fence.
@@BevanWilliamsNZ good for you, be the best fed and the fattest dog on the coast
Nice Trout
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Not the one you wanted but well done mate
Nice one Bevan😊
Great hit out new pup and new hat too?
Yes mate my old hat unfortunately had to be retired to the rack of history after 15 years of service 😂
If you don't mind me asking, what was that pool that you 'had to yourself'?
@@cliveevans9948 No problem it was the boulder reach pool in the upper reaches of the Tongariro
@@BevanWilliamsNZ Thanks Bevan Id like to fish the Tongariro a bit more but with the limited time I've had when in Taupo I tend to plump for the Hinemaiaia.
No joy mate but I did enjoy that, grew up in Paraparaumu through the 70's and used to go up that river as a lad but well before I got into fly fishing. Tried with my surf rod but never any luck, didn't know any better back then...didn't care either.
@@Yipmanhands Thanks for watching, it’s a neat little river but has change a lot especially in the lower reaches due to roading and flood protection but still holds a wily trout or two.
@@BevanWilliamsNZ Yeah mate, was back in NZ about 3 years ago after being away for like 30 years and was a bit shocked with the highway changes around Pram...was also shocked that there was nobody around, kids wise. Was a great place to grow up I thought but times have changed it seems. Did you grow up around that area, Kapiti or Pram College lad ?
@@Yipmanhands it sure has changed especially the demographic, I’ve been on the coast since 84 went to Kapiti college been in and out over the past 20 years tho. Settled in waikanae beach these days, Waikanae Beach reminds me of Raumati Beach 20 years ago. But it still has great fishing and hunting right on the door stop with Kapiti Island and the mighty tararuas.
Stonker Terakihis!! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching
Electric reels! Really?Pretty Shallow water there
Yep they go with my electric cigarette lol. In around 70 - 90 meters there the plays 400 electric reels and allow us to hunt out new spots easily whist drift fishing. They make a nice change from winching up with nothing on or not getting the right drift. Give them ago there a lot of fun but each to their own I guess. Thanks for watching tho 👍
where u get that fillet station
@@bryceee976 it’s a n old bench top that came out of a local cafe, it just happened to fit perfectly on the tail gate of the Ute. Btw thanks for watching 🎣👍
When can you take me out and teach me some tips? I'm keen as!
Thanks for watching, We could do that at some stage if your keen.
Content is great...just poor quality footage. Resolution is just to low!
Thank you taking the time to watch and yes the resolution is terrible. What camera equipment do you use ? It’s not easy bow hunting and self filming as you know mate.
@@BevanWilliamsNZ I run the canon R8…but the R5 mark II is supposed to be announced July 17. That is the camera to get. Supposed to be really awesome for video. I’m going to pre-order it the moment it gets released.. then the RF-70-200 f4 or f2.8. You will have incredible footage… look at my hog hunting videos and see the quality especially of the deer.
@@TheNewBowunter thank you I will look into that camera. And yes I’ve watched your videos and subscribed keep up the good work mate keep in touch. Ps if your ever in new zealand drop me a line we could hunt and fish together 👍
@@BevanWilliamsNZ Thanks Bud..Looking forward to seeing what you produce..I just subscribed to yours too.
