"Nice clip for Training "
Is this a how NOT to?😁...
After damage removal NDT inspection is required to insure disbond free condition, also scaling is required when mixing poting compound
You need to invest in a Rotabroach kit
Is this training? I can't see an SRM allowing two repairs on an inlet that close. Is that guy in the background shooting with a 1x rivet gun? I would never want to do this job. Hat tip to this guy if it is an actual repair.
Very subpar work tbh. Why would you post this?
Never USE a calibrated measuring tool for anything else than measuring.
None of those Cherrymax are any good. I would have had you replace every one of them. 🤷♂️
Can you do a video for splice repair? Thanks
Maybe a hole saw instead of chain drilling? Then you use the tip of a divider to pry the metal out? Come on, man! Then bare skin on those sharp edges? I'm only to 2:25! Why are you pulsing the drill like it's a semi-auto handgun?
Pulsing is not bad, is for controlling. Everything else is questionable.
@@annakquinn7084 I've been doing aircraft structures for 20 years. Maybe my drills have all been too high-quality? Usually Jiffy, Sioux & Dotco. The triggers on these pneumatic, quality drills is so feather-sensitive that you can run any speed you want. I don't see how pulsing helps with control at all.
Good job Meg,. Edoy
What no primer? And why did you chain drill ? I would have use a hole saw.
Show me a drawing call out to seal or structure procedure assembly
sir sa cutout po ba need. talaga e sealant?
Is this a SRM repair?
Cmm goodrich i guess
i think NSRM bro.
I thought my sheet metal repairs were average but after watching this😁
Excellent workmanship!!!!
Why no scale when mixing the 934? If you use a 50 grit disk and grind your hole you will get a much cleaner cutout vs chain drilling.
are there no residual stresses left behind from the drilling process of the skin?
No
Boss wala ba tayong bagong repair dyan? Haha waiting...
The cherry rivets are clearly not locked in...grip length is too short. ...should be reinstalled correctly. And.....Seriously....you use a pair of dividers to remove the chain drilled area. Not good practice and not a good educational video...sorry..
I’ll never understand why guys don’t use a scale for hysol like why cut that corner.
Very good
what was the problem actually? and can you make a video on cleaning of Honeycomb too ?
more such videos please...I work on the engineering side and a little out of touch with the actual field work
What grit sandpaper did you use?
Those rivets are not the right size I believe
I thought the same thing. They didn't make the clunk noise before breaking as the lock ring is pushed in. Plus the stem is below the top of the rivet , it should be level with the top
Galing,dami free time,ilang days nagawa?
Sir upload kpa po mdaming Repair 😊 thank u po
I think Rivet length short just 1grip. CR3523?!
Please provide dimension details please

Hi, nice video. Thanks for sharing. I'm a aircraft sheet metal student, from Portugal. I hope you upload more videos.
