Du exercise for all

A pre-compressed push pattern with a pulling twist. That exercise was very interesting one year ago, but I addressed to it too furious, I was dying after 1minute. Now I can keep (sometimes) five minutes and feeling a great sensation afterwards.
Didgeridoo magic box

I wanted to share with you the small box I prepared to play didgeridoo at home. Still, I guess they could feel it (neighbours), but not big deal. Also, great practise that came a few minutes later, and I am super happy with the result. Following @DuendeDidgeridoo like a samurai. 01:41 Play time
soft drone didgeridoo
I started this year doing morning shifts at work, so I did not practise a complete routine yet, but I am doing soft drone. Working on my balance. This is beautiful, try it! I share the pics of mics and interface, but notice that also a 10db gain is added on post-processing, not anything else nor less. Inspiration and 2025 goal: "very soft but very hard didgeridoo exercise" from @DuendeDidgerido...

I did a beautiful exercise, to review some videos I got in my phone, as well as in this channel. The best and the worst, how to improve, and try to program it for an easier follow up. It might not be of interest to you, this is for me to keep track and focus on the homework. 00:01:05 - starting point 00:02:20 - speed mistake 00:05:29 - Masterclass 00:06:40 - perception mistake 00:09:18 - singin...

I am just very happy to share a nice demo of last progress, with some flaws and all included. Thanks to all my mastermates and @DuendeDidgeridoo for the masterclass and the UA-cam channel. I talked quite a lot, but to wrap it up, I unlocked a part of me, it sounds very spiritual now XD But is like my body understands better what will come. So, let's push this momentum. Also, is the first time using this Xenix x1204usb, and I am satisfied. Still, I clipped once... but is about playing around. I will focus on compose something, meanwhile I may share some exercises or songpainting. ...

Hey! Much better, the rest I will try to do it focused. But this is a very nice exercise, I will explore it more. Soon, I want to talk a lot, as I am very happy to understand some things of my playing. Trust the process!

Here I took the council of Dubravko's reading a comic book while playing. It is super hard!! I thought it was easy, tbh, but is not easy. It's easy if you play soft and continuous (and even like that is not easy). But trying to punch some Ta's or working on silences and variations... it is super hard. But fun!! I should try something less strict and more fluid. I recommend and even CHALLENGE yo...
Working on

The playing part, is without any post gain, as you'll suffer, the levels are high too often. It is very hard to find the sweet spot when you don't know how aggressive or loud you will play. This is just me sharing me, no help calls, but that's what I'm working on. Order on chaos Thanks to @FreddieVeggie @dojorich @DuendeDidgeridoo and all of you there enjoying the progress of a didge player as ...
Practising paralell playing
After 2 weeks of holidays I expected to be untrained, but I find out a very positive come back. The didge is one that needs lot of air or lot of lip tension control. The key is A, from @DuendeDidgeridoo as well as the exercise I am practising here, in a free way #didgeridoo #paralellplaying #music
The secret of didgeridoo practise

This is a joke video, but I enjoyed watching for days, all the footage from my didgeridoo homework. So I decided to wrap up the most important moments of my practise, the struggles. The exercises as are all based on @DuendeDidgeridoo channel and his MasterClass. If you want to do a challenge like this one, try some of his videos, and work on it, for 1 or 2 weeks. Thanks for watch this nonsense

Hahahaha molt guai! Més música!
Quin control, brutal màster!!!
@@joelmontanana1098 gracies mestre!! Que guai tenir-te per aqui 🧐🥳
I am listening to it on the metro, I realize it starts very low, but that is the reason why I was thinking about 32bit recorders, but is not that, cause I did not clip here. I guess is mandatory to learn a bit more of audio processing. I guess I can normalize the audio excluding the peaks. I will try something similar next time.
That reverb sounds really good!
@@JennDidge right? Is super fun!
Hi Pen, thank you for your encouraging video to come to masterclass. I enjoyed to be at the nice place with awesome people very much and hope to come for another time.
@@AxelGeissler only for meeting you, the masterclass is a must 🥰
Glad to see you sharing this!
Awesome video! 🙏The first year I went I had sooo little control. EVERYTHING was hard. But I had so much fun and took pages and pages of notes. The second year was also hard but I kinda knew what to expect: Great friendships, wonderful food, hard work, fabulous instruments, and amazing teaching. ❤
Summary: Prepare a little bit, do the 10 exercises. A good way is to focus during one week on playing at least 1h a day.
So brave! ❤
You must know that this pattern is my favourite since I watch it about 3 years or 4 years ago, just droning, slower, 1st toot sometimes, sweating, tachycardic... beautiful exercise, that I find it polished on the 1st masterclass I attend, one year and a half later (and a 2nd masterclass), I am starting, to practise for 1st time, this exercise CORRECTLY or closer on tempo, articulations and accents... oh the accents. I set up metronome on 110bom and 0 beats, if I hear the metronome's accent I lose it :) next video I will talk about my relation with this exercise and the masterclass. Thanks for watching!
This channel is better than the original to learn the exercises!!
just watch out for that last beat!
That means there is something I did not notice. I will check it out, no need to tell me, I will search
I was playing last beat too long, fixed that, now is harder to keep the tempo
@@DidgePen Well done!!
You're so brave!
@@AxelGeissler my mastermates encourage me
You answered the question "what could be done differently" in your comment. What do you think went well?
@@JennDidge the breath control, far from perfect I felt it good. The tempo. First time following the beat! Felt very natural 🥰
Fabulous! Now I'm going to have to go and try this one again! Thank you for the motivation. Looking forward to the two month review! 🥰
I publish videos far from perfect, this is the first 3 minutes of a 15' practise, too monotonous at the end and no interesting for you. I know how the good exercise sounds, I want to share how the master sounded before he mastered the pattern. That way, other beginners feel in the right path even if they feel weak or clumsy (as I still am) There is a loooot of improvements to be done here that I am not aware while playing: - Pre-compression, how I lack pre-compression??? I had train but... - Airflow consistency / lip tension / diaphragm push... TOO WEAK overall Probably those flaws will be improved if I focus on the push but two pushes on a row. This video will probably have a review in 2 months or so. Stay tuned!
This is amazing Pen. Such a thoughtful creation. Thank you so much for sharing!
Very good idea, I was thinking of something similar. But Aircode playing is not so loud and so I do exercise this a lot. 😊
@@AxelGeissler I am expecting a singing record over a didgeridoo practise 😉
Very clever! 😲 I'm sooo glad that I can play where I am even though I'm not allowed to play all night. 😅
fat bass!
Beautiful ❤
Really nice. This is what I expect it should sound like. I heard DY do this once. I had my ear to the bell of his didge and could barely hear it. I've never figured out how to record myself doing it.
Sorry Pen, don't hear almost anything
@@AxelGeissler correct. I might upload another one trying different mic full inside the bell

Hi Pen, can you show sometimes the written patterns, that you play. That would help me and Otter beginners a lot. ❤
It will be a good way to compose, I will compose a pattern and paste it on the video while playing it
Nice touch having the bear watching. 🐻 I really like the parts where you get so involved in the didge playing that you distract from yourself the painting. ❤
@@JennDidge yes, those parts are nice! We need to explore more on the painting. And bears!

Hi Pen, nice to see songpainting 😊❤
Songpainting is awesome🤩
This might not be very interesting, you can speed it up or even miss it completely. But I encourage trying it. I will post the progression, because it might be interesting for the one who gets the paint, here is the OST :)
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I also feel like I cannot play anymore.
Axel, I just kept playing the same way and suddenly yesterday I felt a new kind of pattern that leads me to flow, I may post one nice track soon. Big hug!
Si no, quan ho torno a sentir, no recordo perquè em semblava interessant. Quedem un dia i compartim aquestes coses!!!
Aquest comentari val per 10! Que guai Victor gracies pel feedback. Lo dels dos micros... Pues es una tasca a mig fer. Vaig començar aixi perque un micro sol no pillava be els aguts, el dia del test, pero ja ho he deixat aixi 😅 Gràcies company! ❤
