I came here for the lies
What did I say that was a lie?
hello, what really bothers me about my current buggy (but they all have this) is the noise, which of course comes from the high rpm we make. Will this now be greatly reduced,? I think it will consume less in any case 🤔
From what I’m seeing from the maverick R is it’s far quieter and doesn’t have near as much parasitic loss as the cvt does. But time will tell. I’m still waiting to learn more about them but their being very quite about any new info.
I have a 2023 uforce 600 with 50 hrs on it , it’s really jerky off the start and at low speeds I’ve notice a clanking sound. Took it into my dealer and they told me it’s the clutch and it’s normal. They told me to run it in work mode. I don’t run it fast very often, just use it for hunting so usually in low range. Sure doesn’t sound normal to me. What would you suggest?
Hey, so the clutch could be wearing in and it’s just starting to wear in the sliders or it could be the spring is loosing some of it tension. The clutch springs are a wearable item so it could possibly be that. But fortunately it’s an easy fix most stage 1 clutch kits “primary springs” are very easy to swap out. They are probably using the work mode as a bs fix to slow down the throttle to make it less noticeable. But my strongest guess is the spring is loosing its tension and just softening up “that is normal with the stock cv tech springs” but an msc stage 1 will fix it and make it a bit smoother. And give ya a little more power back and will last a long time. Hope this helps ya out bud have a great day.
What the RNG helix a srm3?? Great info, thanks
@@michaelseaford8899 what do you mean? Was it the srm3? If that’s the question it’s the srm1 as rng stated it was the closest to the trail helix that msc offers.
So if i run a stage one an re clock the secondary to b3 wht does tht do?
So a stage one clocked to b3 will give more off the line punch but your putting the spring under more pressure. It will also take away some of your top end as well.
@@mjmisadventures950 thanks for the info 73 on top end now i think if i loose a few it will be ok lol shes a bit unstaedy lol but i go slower on ruff trails so tht mite help me our
MSc says stage 3 trail kit is for stock size tires?
No that would be a stage 1 or their stock performance package. You can buy a stage 3 and just hold off using the secondary till you run a larger tire.
Just saw the video. I just purchased a 950 trail. Selling my UForce 800. I was looking at clutch kits from MSC when I found your channel. Great information thanks.
How did you get that MSC washer out?
I used a small 90 degree pick and it popped out pretty easily
Awesome info, do you have a list of the PVC angle fittings you used, and possibly a shot of how you routed the CVT exhaust under the air box?
Shoot me a message on facebook and when I get home tomorrow I can get you everything
Belt temp aside, seems like RNG is clearly the winner with Primary Stage 1 with regard to smoothness. What would you think about a setup using RNG Stage 1 and MSC Stage 2 & 3?? Can you mix and match like that? (MSC Stage 1 does not take out the jerk in low range for farm work / plowing).
Rng only wins in my testing in smoothness in takeoff. I know a guy who did use an msc secondary and helix and an rng primary and it was so uncontrollable he immediately pulled it out. So I’d strongly advise not to mix and match them. As for the takeoff the msc kit does take some of it out but there’s a small amount of that clunk but nowhere near as bad.
Hi ,I installed the stage 3 trail to my 1000 overland n lost 7 k per hr on top end .
It makes sense but after a few rides you will get a little bit of it back. I lost about 5mph off my top end so yours is about the same as mine. Unfortunately with any cvt it’s all give and take you get more down low or more top end.
Thanks!
Thanks for the text hopefully both companies can gain good information from your tests
I hope so too
With the stage 1, apart from smoother take-offs and lowering belt temps (i assume lower engine rpm too?) does the stage 1 increase or lower the top speed of tje vehicle?
Long of the short you will sacrifice top speed but you gain way more bottom end. If you ride 60 mph and under it’s a great option. But if you watch my stage 3 comparison I break everything down at the end of the video. I have a stage 3 trail kit and still get 74mph but if you want to keep your top end look at their stock performance plus kit
I wish Duraclutch made one for CF Moto machines. I has one on a 2017 Ranger XP1000 I had and it was worth the $ and then some.
Lose the music
I get it but I have the ability to use it and with all the other background music I would’ve had a copyright issue.
It’s awesome you’re getting close to 1000 subs. 🤘🏻I know how much work and time it takes. 💪
We’re trying man.
Man, you guys did good. I thought you were gonna get free for a second. Jamon did good. Needs about 50 lbs to make it really dance. Lol. Great video 💯. I enjoyed it.
Great video buddy. Glad to help out with the camper. I’m not bad for a can-am guy 🤣😂. Seriously though, thanks for the invite. We had an awesome time until I lost my bag lol.
I want to put a stage 3 on my cf moto cforce x1000 but idk if it's worth the money to do that 🤔
What’s your setup?
I believe you said Pennsylvania ? Thats where im from , central Pennsylvania , the Pennsylvania Cfmoto Facebook group page i started February 2016 to help others learn about the brand because back then very little info on Cfmotos then , was 1 Facebook group page , maybe 3 or 4 youtube videos about them well Feb 2022 i gave it up and transferred it to Cfmoto Usa parts - Josh and Zach Curren at Curren Rv which ive known from the Cfmoto group pages since 2018 and i gave it to them so they admin it and i still help Moderate it some when i have time but thats about it for me now , i use to Admin 6 of the Cfmoto group pages including the Zforce 950 page up until MSC took it over so Fall of 2022 , sometimes i miss it all but ive got a lot more free time now and i dont have to deal with all the drama that was going on for quite a while that got old quick , im still just a member on a few but not online very often but i love all 3 of my Cfmotos , my 1st one a 2016 Zforce 800 trail model i had some issues but My dealer and Cfmoto handled it very well , so i ended up buying the 1st Z950 August 2020 that hit my dealer and im good friend's with him so he left me have 1st dibs on it so i got it , its been a amazing machine , everything mechanically is still original , including wheel bearings , 1800 Miles ,i dont go in much mud honestly and if i do its usaally no more then 8 inches deep , same with water , original throttle pedal was recalled about 2 weeks after i bought it but mine never had a issue , they still replaced it but its been one of the best machines ive onwed and ive owned quite a few brands , September 2020 we bought our 2021 Cforce 500 and its been problem free and almost 1800 miles , original wheel bearings , axles and all. I would buy a 4th Cfmoto without hesitation , the newest models are very impressive , they look awesome.. Good video
We’re from down by the chambersburg area. But we like to ride aoaa and a few others we have plans to visit soon
I added a spare tire, fuel and water tanks and about 40lbs of tools and equipment to my 2022 Zforce 950 HO Sport and lost almost 2" of clearance. I adjusted the preload to get some of the height back but didn't get it all back and the springs are compressed too much now and I don't have much travel. Is there a place to get all new springs with higher tension to compensate for my load?
There are three main options. The first is a set of elkas. They’re expensive but can be ordered to handle the weight your hauling. Next would be a set of bandit tender springs. A little cheaper but not amazing. Last option a few guys have been using rzr 1000 springs and swapping them over and they have had pretty good luck but I’ve never tested it.
@@mjmisadventures950 Thank you very much for these options. I was going to start with the Bandit's but I think now I'll start with the RZR 1000 springs and if that doesn't work go right to the Elkas. Not familiar with them, what do I search for?
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Tinted PC Rear Windshield for your CFMOTO ZFORCE 950 H.O. SPORT (if your car year is 2022 or 2023
Ill test it and post a review 😅

Glad I watched this video
Great video. Thanks for the clear description. I live in Va and would love to ride with you guys sometime.
Absolutely man we’re going to pa mudd fest may 24-27. If you’ll be there just find us and say hello and hope in with one of our rides
Well done. I just ended up sticking a 90 into the cvt outlet. Clamp it and ran silicone around the pipes to give it a good water tight seal. Im also considering turning the air intake and cvt intake around for much better airflow into the intakes.
I agree if I didn’t have the tips laying around I probably would have just done a 3 inch pipe tbh all the way up but using the sya kit it forced me to go down to the 2 inch pipe
Did u check to see what what that will do to belt Temps.?
We are doing a ride soon and I’ll be check it with the razorback to check belt temps and I’ll do a follow up
I love my Z force 950 Ho ex put in a clutch kit, tune and exhaust and it’s a completely different beast!
Nice job on the snorkel. Simple yet informative. Need video of mudfest!!!
You still in contact with RNG
He cut all contact with me. I’ve tried reaching out but I got blocked.
@@mjmisadventures950Damn that's a little immature... Why did he do that?
Nice. Be sure to silicone the hell out of the rubber connections. I didn’t do mine and I paid for it lol.
Hey this question isnt about this video. Do you still have the razorback on z950. Your thoughts after a year, like it, worth it, worth it, etc any info . Thinking about getting one for my 22 950 ho sport. Did you put it about 1 inch off edge of where gasket is. Thanks
Yes I still have it and I’ve had zero issues “it’s been submerged and still zero issues so far”. I really like it when I’m pushing on my machine and it gives me an added layer of protection so I can see what’s going on. I think it’s worth it if you ride your machine pretty average to just plain dumb like I do🤣. I definitely feel it’s well worth every penny because it gives so much clarity to what’s going on and you can see when you need to calm down a bit. I did place it about center with the belt. If your on Facebook “search for me Michael Goff or ticktock @ mjmisadventures” and I can shoot you a picture of where I have it mounted.
Hey is that razorback still working, your opinion on it now after a year. Thanks
I love local to RNG , thought I wanted to keep my money local and go through him for parts, but after him making videos just bashing others and msc , I have decided not to spend my money with them , and I have also upgraded to the villain
Unfortunately I feel the same way. When we did talk I said just build a great product and let it do the talking for you. How are you liking the villain so far?
@@mjmisadventures950 so far I love it , to me it's like an x3 but you can see over the hood ,it's a comfortable ride but it is a little noisy, but we are glad we traded in the 950 even though we loved that also
I hear ya I drover “Sxsoutcast’s” and I love the suspension and how it handles but for me there wasn’t as much punch like the cfmoto has. We have an order in for the super villain as soon as they come in we’re just waiting on them though
Are you local to the Akron Canton area , if you are we should get together and ride , this weekend we are headed to rush off-road
No I’m in central pa.
I’ve got a 22’ 950 HO Sport and I’ve never had any issues with it other than flat tires and one engine code which turned out to be a dirty air filter. I firmly believe that if you do regular maintenance on your machine it will last as long as the others. If you beat the living shit out of your machine, shit will break. It’s just the way it is. I mainly trail ride but I do drive it hard most of the time. The only upgrades and mods I’ve done are tires and rims, stage 1 MSC primary clutch kit, and RNG rev limiter deletes and added typical accessories. It’s been a great machine for me. I put on a little over fifteen hundred miles in one summer of use and plan on putting on a bunch more this summer.
So in reality just stick with the factory clutching . It sounds like to me if you’re not into mud and want big tires then just stick with factory
In a way yes and in a way no. The stock clutching is ok but a bit jerky I wasn’t a huge fan of that. Also a few of the clutch kits actually cool your belt drive down while also adding some performance that you don’t need to tap into all the time.
Nice
Nice
Welcome back!! I feel you... Gets busy and UA-cam takes the back seat
Unfortunately we’ve been trying but man it gets tough sometimes
Can it turn on without a ATV Or Side by side
As long as your outlet is powered then yes. If not you can wire it directly to the battery if you’d prefer
Any new updates on the super villain? Cant find much online!
No not yet I did see adrenaline junkie just got to see them in person yesterday in Canada so hopefully they will be releasing more info soon
Keep er movin!
We’re trying. We got a ton of rides come up so we’re pumped to get back out and ride.
so whats you recomend for stockt tires and ride almost on road or trails?
Msc has a street and road use kit.
good seeing you back!!
Thank you. Work has had me busy working 12-16 hour days 6-7 days a week. But hopefully everything is gonna slow down and we can get back to filming
Glad y’all are back, now let’s get them machines together so we can ride lol.
Working on it buddy
If you know anything about cvtech clutches make your own kit. Only thing I use from there kit is the helix.
4:07 agreed the stock skid plate will 100% be your first upgrade needed 4/4 of my buddies got 950 ho sports and all our rear skids just completely fall off within 80 miles
Absolutely mine started falling apart after getting drug on some dirt on a few easy trails. That’s definitely something cfmoto should upgrade
I have been looking at the System 3 XCR 350 X-country (30in.). They show it used on rocky trails and also rock crawling. You labelled it in the trail category. I have my original big horns(28in.) on my 2024 Yamaha wolverine x2 1000. I was looking to buy the xcr 350 for the tighter tread for rocky trails and some rock crawling. I'm going to use the big horns for the soft and slightly muddy trail riding. Are my thoughts incorrect?
Their a great tire and if you ride mostly dry rock they do great. When the rocks get a little wet they tend to slip a bit more. I have really enjoyed my crawlers from pro armor. But it’s a great option.
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I just stumbled upon your channel and thought I would check it out. Glad I did cause you gave straight forward information that for whatever reason a lot of people like to skirt around these days. I happened to have purchased the stage 2 clutch kit from MSC and in my opinion was a good purchase cause like you said, it comes with that trust washer. Other kit don’t have it. I only installed the stage 1 kit so for because I wanted to see the differences for myself. Wow! There’s a major difference. Completely lost the midrange bog and that’s without the upgraded secondary spring installed. I’ll probably wait on the stage 2 part until I buy the helix cause I only want to pull that secondary apart once. Thanks refreshing information. 👍🇺🇸
CFMOTO having a winch out the gate is huge.
That it is
