    It seems very odd to me, and something I have noticed in other cool sculpting videos. She could clearly benefit from the largest handle placed across the lower abdomen, yet they refrain from using that size and reccomend a size probably at least a third smaller. Also the handles all overlap in several places, so that would mean some parts of her tummy would be treated twice in the same treatment day. That would seem very panful for client even though small areas of overlap. Is that even safe for the client? I would really like to know...just curious the answers to these questions. One last thing, would it be safe to do one small handle over the belly button. I have never seen that done, and wondered if that would be safe? I have noticed in some results videos the clients seem to have a small bulge over belly button, so was wondering about that issue, as well. Thank you!😮

      @@hildahighlander2586 great questions! We’ll do our best to cover it all… First, technique is important! Although this client *could* have 1 applicator straight across the lower belly, she would get better results by using 2 on either side in a V shape. Reason being - the coldest point of the applicator (and thus the most impactful part of treatment) is in the center. She has a small deviation in the center of her abdomen and peaks on either side, hence the decision to treat in the way we did 😜 The overlap technique basically “builds your own” applicator size to achieve full coverage. As providers, we are mindful that what we leave behind is what you live with and see, and you want to make sure you’re leaving behind appropriate fat. As far as discomfort, cold is a natural anesthetic so there’s not a ton of discomfort in the overlapping areas, but it is a little more sensitive. And we do not ever center a handpiece over the belly button. You can put a handpiece near the belly button and it can be drawn into the applicator (and should to avoid a bubble of fat left behind, like you mentioned). But just like above, you wouldn’t center over a belly button because that’s an indentation, not a peak of volume. If you want to get more into specifics or discuss a recommended plan for your own unique anatomy, we recommend scheduling a virtual consultation! We’d love to help! ✨🫶🏼❄️

      @@rabelaninetshituka8601 anytime something like this comes up, it’s always best to consult the medical professional overseeing your treatment! Often, recovery has a lot to do with your prior medical history… That being said, generally speaking, fat leaves the body through your lymphatic system, which does include urine and stool. That being said, she took a garlic supplement as part of her daily routine… Happy freezing and best of luck in your recovery!

    On the scale of 1-10 how painful is the treatment??? And what kind of pain can we experience??? Is it safe for future pregnancy ???

    • @elementbodylab
      @elementbodylab 2 місяці тому

      Hi there! Pain is totally subjective. Many of our clients nap during treatment, showing how comfortable *most* people are. Occasionally, someone thinks the treatment itself is uncomfortable, but usually nothing they can’t handle. The first 5 minutes feel like ice packs going on the skin, and about 10 minutes into treatment the area is usually numb. When the applicators are removed, it feels like cold feet in a hot bath, which is a bit uncomfortable but only lasts around 2 minutes. Many of our clients, including our founder, were treated prior to successful and healthy pregnancies. Actually, our founder is about 8 months pregnant in this video! There are no formal studies on coolsculpting and fertility, but anecdotally, we haven’t had any clients report any issues. That said, we always recommend chatting with a healthcare professional about your own personal medical history before making a decision!

      Hi just want to ask. I have breastmilk stash good for 3 months. I exclusively pump. Can I have the coolsculpting treatment then continue to pump after I'm done with the coolsculpting treatment? I'm planning to do pump and dump while getting coolsculpting treatments then once I'm done with the treatment I will continue to feed breastmilk my baby. Is it possible

      @@CatherineShaney hey there! Best advice would be to consult with the medical professional you plan on using for treatment. We wouldn’t recommend treating until you’re complete with breastfeeding as the lymphatic flush and inflammation from cool sculpting can last a full 90 days. 3 months is a long time to pump and dump! Enjoy the moments with your LO - and save coolsculpting for when that journey is complete!

    Based on how you marked her abdomen, how many treatments were you planning on doing and what applicator head were you going to use?

    • @elementbodylab
      @elementbodylab Рік тому

      We did 6 applicators (aka cycles or treatments) during her first session & she used a medium sized applicator (CoolAdvantage). This was before the Elite technology existed. Her assessment may look different with the newer versions, based on having a more petite frame!

    12:28 What temperature is it at for 35 minutes?

    • @elementbodylab
      @elementbodylab Рік тому

      The Advantage and Elite CoolSculpting Applicators are -11 degrees Celsius, but treatment times range from 35 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the handpiece. Hope that helps! :)

      @@elementbodylab Thank you for your response. How do you determine how much suction vacuum for the applicatior handles to use for treatment? What is the guideline?

    • @elementbodylab
      @elementbodylab Рік тому

      @@OscarInOrlando the machines are calibrated based on contact with the cooling panels, so it’s more provider technique in placement instead of a PSI setting.

      @@OscarInOrlando you’ll need to have it evaluated by a medical professional. Each state has different laws, so we can’t get into that answer unless you’ve been established as a patient here. Generally speaking, the axillary puff is a treatable area, as long as it’s fat. You can checkout photos on our website to see if your anatomy may be similar to others!

    How about pain?

    • @elementbodylab
      @elementbodylab Рік тому

      Pain is subjective, so each client's experience is a bit different. Usually, clients say it feels like an ice pack going on the skin (kind of stings, tingles and burns) for the first 7-10 minutes, then goes relatively numb after that. Most clients report it being *very* tolerable, and some even nap during their treatment! That said, a small percentage of our clients do report feeling uncomfortable during and/or after their session, so I wouldn't expect it to be a walk in the park or a "spa" like treatment. Hope that helps!!

      @@elementbodylab Thanks for the reply, there are people, who didn't saw the results at all, what are your thoughts about that?

    • @elementbodylab
      @elementbodylab Рік тому

      @@rajivthakur4594 such a good question! It will vary patient to patient. If we ever have that situation in practice, we as a team discuss the treatment plan, recommendation, medical history, and many other factors. Technically speaking, the results you see vary from person to person. On average, most client see an *average* reduction of 20-25% on a bell curve. That said, some clients do respond more or less aggressive pending lots of factors. I think a lot of the satisfaction on results comes down to provider technique and patient expectation. We have an educational consult so we can discuss the right expectations and what CoolSculpting can (and can’t) do because of this. Also, important to notate - it is a medical procedure, so advice is going to be dependent on a medical evaluation and review of medical history. I can speak candidly on our experiences… as a practice, we can count on 1 hand the amount of times we’ve seen a “low” response to CoolSculpting. On every instance, we’ve worked with the client specifically to come up with a fair resolution that protects our costs of doing business, but refund any profit. Again, that’s VERY uncommon, but it aligns us with our customers. If you’re a client of ours and have ANY question about results, contact our team directly at 214-897-3006 and let’s chat!

    Do you know of any business insurance that covers coolsculpting ?

    • @elementbodylab
      @elementbodylab 2 роки тому

      Hi there! CoolSculpting is a cosmetic procedure by nature, so it's considered "elective" and not covered by insurance. Some policies that have HSA coverage allow health savings to be spent on cosmetic procedures, but you'd need to check with your policy and terms, as that's not common. Hope this helps!
