How could this have been avoided?
I didn’t have enough momentum to carry us through and should have skirted the hole to the left, but I generally can’t help but smash into every last hole and this was a teaching moment for me to know when it just isn’t worth the risk.
Totally. Sometimes the move is avoid the hazard. This offers another post-incident perspective... Maybe, sometimes, the move is to jump out of the boat? That looked really close to being pinned by the boat... I'm just a bozo kayaker, so lmk if I'm way off base 🙏🏼❤️ Regardless of mode of travel, smashing big wet holes IS the move. Love your style 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼
