South languages are old languages which separated from one language ages ago and now they are completely different. English is our only common tongue in south. So, if you rap in tamil, only tamil audience will get that. But in non-south indian states their first or second language is hindi. So, its the language of masses. So, many hindi rapper keep yapping abt their struggles almost everytime and show their yt view count as success. Most of them are in the rap scene very recently. Brodha V is at the top of his gap even when DHH was making baby steps. He is lyrically insane and yet doesnt get the recognition since he doesnt rap in Hindi. So he also compares his struggles with non hindi speaking regions like north east and south. And how mainstream media and top politicians never really care for their struggles.
