@@siame8eI will say one thing about it is. Better find a second job to go with it. Only working 40-43 hours a week at the one where I’m at. I almost walked out when the guy told me that but I needed the job been laid off since December of last year. Just been doing my own thing hanging sheet rock and shit, so when not driving for loomis. our job is not "protect money" as you put it, our job is "transport money", if we are faced with deadly force, we will protect ourselves, not the money, but if you got the drop on me, and kind not to put 2 in my head, given you are at close range and my driver failed me, I will raise my hand, drop the bag, get on my stomach, ask God to protect me so I can go back home to my wife and kids. other wise, the feds will get you 99% of the times, there are cameras everywhere.

@@trembln You might be thinking different lvl 3 officer, different contract. Loomis does not have cuffs, Tazer, OC spray, or anything, Loomis does not provide you gear, you have to buy your own boots, your own pistol, your own magazines. and that is the only thing you are allowed to wear. Right now I work as a transit security officer. We are given mag pouches, pistol (glock 19), cuffs, oc spray, Tazer, and local pd Radio. Now to go back to your question, it depends on your state, but most states (DPS) that awards the lvl 3, you technically need OC spray on your license, and to get it you need to get sprayed and take the course, for tazer, you just need to know how to use it, hell even in our police academy only one out of 100 gets tazed (volunteer) but everyone gets sprayed. Loomis gave me 20:50 an hour / didnt give me shit but the shirt and pants. TSO with local Transit but contracted to a company gave us all the gear / 25 an hour

Bro I just got called by Loomis 2 days ago to be a Driver starting pay at $21 an hour. Do drivers get out of the truck a lot or stay inside most of the time?

@@Hello-ok9hq I applied as well for Loomis & Brinks and I think you’re probably going to be an LLV Runner, so you’ll be going to like mom & pop shops, stores, and little to some ATMs; that’s practically it tbh.

I’m one of those who were hired off the streets (IT College Grad with a Minor in Criminal Justice, recently last year tbh, resume booster) but however, at least I got formal training in especially a whole lot of range time; hell, love to spend time at the range on a Saturday Morning and practice as much as I can.

@@Hello-ok9hq 40 to 50 hours, sometimes you work a Saturday; other than that, not a whole lot of downtime but you’re out there!
