Hi. I just recorded the set directly to traktor software. Video was recorded separately and synced in video software. I hope it helps.

Thanks for it. You will be surprised with the computer I use. 10 years old macbook pro with 8gb of ram. Never had any problem with stability. So 16 or 32 gb will be absolutely enough.

I've had a lot different type of controllers and mixers before but s8 is the best so far for me. Possibilities are endless.

Hi. I personally think that both are pretty the same. The only difference are jogweels which I don't use due to my style of djing. However,I like the new traktor s4 design.

Also, this may have been addressed in firmware update but the S8 is also a stand alone mixer. You can connect outside turntables or cdj up to it and will play with no computer. The S4 mk2 did this too but the S4 mk3 did not release with this ability. Although this may have changed. Personally the S8 with a D2 3rd channel and a reloop turntable 4th channel would be ideal but I play psytrance and don't scratch ever.

Thanks Buddy for kind words. I went through a lot of gears. From vinyls, cdj etc. But what I like the most is actually Native Instruments ecosystem. So intuitive and configurable. I think to sync it again with my push2 and add some ableton stuff.

I don’t know mate. I am using Ableton software so my choice of push 2 was obvious.

@@loopsarchannel3118 was this setup controlling software, Traktor Pro maybe? I realise it’s a long time ago now 😂 how has your setup evolved to now? Maybe worth a video in itself? Keep up the good work, the YT algorithm picked well for me this time, I’ll be smashing the rest of your output drekly as they say here in Cornwall 👍

@@AirZeee Yes. It was controlling traktor pro. My system was sold 5 years ago so didn’t evolve more. But a few month ago I bought traktor S3 together with Ableton push 2. So I am again in the game ;)

By usb direct to my laptop. Mixer has built in soundcard which working with traktor software.

A bit old but sounds really deep. A lot possibilities when u connect it to the computer.

@@loopsarchannel3118 Yeah, I'm torn between this and 62.... they are both old but 4D is still kinda pricey....Also the computer thing, I got a Mac that came with Catalina. Which software are you using currently?

Donald Ghazi High Sierra. I could not update to Catalina because Ableton had a problem with compatibility. I was using both traktor and Ableton. But just for traktor Catalina is all right.

@@loopsarchannel3118 Ahhh gotcha. Yeah I just got my Traktor X1 mk2 and F1 and as well as Xone K2. I may just start like this and see if I want to drop serious money on a mixer. I think my options are Xone 62 for $400, Xone 4D for $500, and Xone 92 for $1000. Oh boy.
