@@hmh301 have stuck with Sony for good and bad. I started with the Canon 5D2 and loved it. Game changer 10 years ago. Great color - still amongst the best. But the Sony was light years ahead in low light, paint, audio, beautiful images. Started with the FS100, expensive in its day, but huge in many areas that Canon did not provide - plus great audio, playback, true cinema camera design - sorta. And that is when Sony started into lens design - and boy, did they deliver. A few each year, but what optics. Equal to Zeiss or better. Then the A7 series~! Wow. and 3-5 types too~! Sure I heard about Panasonic and the rave reviews but my Zeiss manual optics (10 of them) worked on e-mount plus anything else out there. How can you beat that? I coveted the A7ii but when the a7iii came out, I snatched one right away and never looked back. Canon wasn't even on the radar screen, or just about not on the screen. I am used to the Sony system despite a few flaws. Menu system is a bit of a pain, but so what, learn it. It works and has many options that Canon just does not have the same kind - like reprogramming any button to any function - can't beat that~! Plus use any lens with adapter. And Sony is dead serious about making world class stuff. They are all in and it is a monster corporation where no expense is spared to be the best. And they deliver. From wee consumer to Hollywood and more, the have it all covered and learn from each department. Look at the Bravia TV's - incredible. Microphones, TV cameras, studio gear etc. Sure Canon and Arri and others have their market, but Sony has it all covered. I will put up with the iddy biddy flaws because I know fully well, when they come out with the next iteration, it will rock as the a7Siii did.

@@hillsmediahouse with the Em1 m3 … hm it would be interesting for me to get to know how to „pimp“ the lense with additional lenses or rings to get more near to an object and if this can be also used then for excampfle for the 60mm macro later. I saw something that could be used on the 60mm but not ig the same stuff can be used on the 12-40. But maybe ghat is not possible anyhow :) Sorry if it was confusing 🙈🙈🙈

Hey, yea this would be a great compact option for you. The. Battery life is great, the lens options are great and really affordable and the camera has in body stabilisation, so it's great for some hand held shots.

Olympus 12-40 f2.8 hands down. By far the most versatile and used lens I own.

Yea 100% I recently shot a music video using only this lens. Had absolutely no issues at all. Best investment, it has stood the test of time so far haha

@@hillsmediahouse I'm from Argentina, we speak Spanish here, I can understand American accent easily, British accent is a little bit harder, but for some reason for native Spanish speakers Australian accent is extremely hard , I guess we need more Australian teachers in this part of the world😁BTW, I'm also a fan of the G85!

hey thanks for the comment. Yea the G85 is a great entry level camera and I still use it for weddings as a B cam and a C cam ( i have a gh5 for main cam and then the 2 g85's). Sonys are great but you have to spend the coin which can be tough and then also spend well on the lens's to go with the full frame set up. Yea, it really is a great lens in every aspect. I have done the same digital zoom on the GH5 and it's been great. Cheers for the comment all the way from Poland

Thank you for leaving the comment. The g85's are so versatile in the real world environment. I now use a gh5 as the main cam with the g85's being backups and b cam. They are great when recording multi angle events. The sigmas are absolutely incredible lenses and the olly 12-40 is still in very high use with gh5

No worries, yea I've had mine for a while now, I use them as b cams but they are still as good as they were when I first bought them

Continued comments from art profil.. I mentioned off camera flash because I bought into the Godox strobe/flash system. Reason being I noticed Godox had remote triggers for all camera makers. I'm waiting for my Godox Olympus/Panasonic trigger order to arrive. I've used the flash/strobe on my Canon. I can't wait to see the results from the Panasonic

@@hillsmediahouse the sony a7iii Also does the sony a7iii record in 120fps even though monitor is limited to 60fps

@@kibzahmed133 yea I was going to say that it might be due to the monitors fps limit. I know some camera models from Canon etc fo a similar crop or zoom when connected with the feelworld monitor.

@@hillsmediahouse even when i change it to 30 or 60fps on 1080 it crops it, does your one crop at 1080?

@@kibzahmed133 oh ok, this might be issue with the camera connecting to the monitor. Are both screens on when you plug it in?

Thank you for comment, you are pretty spot on with your detailed comment and I agree with you in many ways. It did have some great low light capabilities but unfortunately that was shadowed by all the other stuff that didn't work in its favour.
