Just happened to me yesterday, second time
@@jerryp9375 that was my first one in 5 years.
@@uncletonyppg326 pull start got in prop first time, took the airbox with it. Tuesday it airbox cracked came off and left the boot and filter on. Got to be my fault, for not getting the strap on tight. Mad at myself
@@jerryp9375 A thorough preflight usually prevents damage from happening but freak things happen. My harness under seat zipper pocket was open, Prop thrust pulled my riser bag out and caught the prop. Apparently it made a few revolutions before snagging my airbox.
@@uncletonyppg326 I have been flying ULs since the mid 90s, and every mishaps seems to trace back to us pilots, not doing something, or a series of doing things wrong. Air box coming off, all on me, I should have paid attention, and checked my work

We do not, However there is PPG training available in Ontario
Can you tell us the setup for the flag and how you’re able to get it to fly straight?
The flag is mounted to a PVC pole The weight of the pole and the bridle attachment points to the pole keeps the flag straight

Two-strokes don't do well when revved hard while cold. Much cheaper, and more fun to do the warmup.

@uncletonyppg326 I've done some foot dragging but soon as there's water underneath you it's so different you look down and see reflection so it becomes a game of feel only.
It's an experience seeing so many pilots in the air at once while you're part of it. What is cool is that no other type of aviation can do this relatively safely like low and slow paragliders.
It was an awesome experience and so glad to be part of it!

It was my first time there and didn't go to the quarry, some of the other guys did though.
