I speak about orientation and my first day at Alabama State University Fall 2012.
do the incoming Band members stay on campus after band camp? and how are the dorms assigned as far as Band members are concerned?
How long did it take to know if u got accepted
Keke bobo It took mine two weeks , if you wanted to know
when did you send in your health form?
Hey I've recently started vlogging and was wondering if you could subscribe back, like , comment and give me tips ! Thank you
How many orientation sessions do you have to go to?
One orientation
Do you know anything about the Air Force ROTC program there? If you know anyone in it, how do they like it and what are some of the things they tell you about? The official ASU website doesn't go much into detail about the program.
I love my ASU
Did u move in at orientation
I do not live on campus....
Are they building new dorms?
Do you know if bessie estelle is suite style?
What's your Facebook? I'm very involved on campus. I'm in the NAACP on campus, collegiate 100, I'm a Kappa and in the cis club
well isn't that impressive...good for you...KISHA CLAYTON is my facebook name
ok thankyou so i just call the number and ask for advisement? this is my dreamschool and i really want to become a hornet so bad i hope i get in.
Yes....I would call near the middle of the semester because EVERYONE will be calling to be advised during the beginning of the semester. Also check out the website (alasu.edu) for an info packet. Good Luck!!!
Comment back asap if u can thankyou
Depending on how low we are talking....lol. I'll be honest, I don't know the lowest score they will accept but I would call an advisor and discuss it. ITS NEVER TOO EARLY TO GET INVOLVED! I don't know about everyone else but I was very timid about calling someone and asking questions and I suffered from it. lol Having a great GPA will ALWAYS help to get into college but I do recommend talking to an advisor. Call (334) 229 - 4100 and ask for advisement. If you live close to campus, visit the (John Garrick Hardy) student center on the second floor to speak to someone in person.
alabama state university is my dream school and i wanted to know was it hard to get in? Also, i wanted to know if u have a good gpa but a low act score will they still accept you?
I was suppose to go to ASU in the summer of 2012, but just now going in January 2014. I've been admitted, but I don't even have a damn dorm room! They don't answer phones down their either!
I hope you enjoy yourself at My ASU. :D
Nvm I didn't watch the whole video. I see where you said you're a transfer
Are you a transfer or a freshman? I'm transferring in the fall from South Carolina State University
Hey Kisha ! I know you mentioned that "there aren't as many people on campus as you thought there would be" I would have to live in a dorm there if I attend so could you tell me more about campus life please ? Also you may not know the answer to this but is their cheerleading team hard to get on ? THANKS ! xoxo
Thank you for the compliment Daryl.
I can tell you a multitude of things and give you info about both but what specifically would you like to know?
How are Greeks on campus ? And do you know anything about the stingettes ?
Yea I thought so too. I was tired of searching for my info every time I needed it. Now I have it all in one spot.
Awesome idea! Seems like everything is a lot more organized that way.
I'm not sure about business majors...I've heard that on top of taking business classes you have to either take golf or tennis with the course but that would be something to talk to a counselor about. Check out the school's website also.
Thank you. It was fairly easy. My high school gpa was about a 2.8. I was in the band but that had nothing to do with me getting in though. My hs band director is an ASU alum so I felt encouraged to go in that way. I didn't have volunteer hours until I came to ASU, but that part I did on my own. Hope that helps. :-)
You are sooo pretty! & good video, by the way. How easy was it for you to get in? What was your high school grades, gpa, transcript, extracurricular acitivites, volunteer hours, class rank, etc like. Sorry for the long question :)
thanks! same to you!
Subbed ,I'm a future asu student transferring. I'm so ready for asu . I wish you good luck in your journey at asu.
....ALSO......We exude black pride and school pride throughout the school year especially during the month of February and November (Turkey Day Classic). If you have a specific question please let me know.
Always, always… something to do on campus especial, especially the first week when classes start. I’m not always able to attend because I don’t live on campus, but the school sends emails about events. The class sizes are manageable and tend to drop throughout the school year because people are still figuring out what they need to take. Like I said in the video, we have new buildings and a new stadium. The staff and teachers are very straight forward and available to students.
Sure, what can I help you with?
The campus is very beautiful and spacious. From what I have seen, the dorms are great. Depending on if you are a freshman, sophomore, Jr, or senior they will place you in certain dorms. I recommend that you take a campus tour first. If you do, make sure you have on your walking shoes. I'm not so sure about a car. I would go to alasu.edu for more info on cars or call. I believe parking decals are $70 for students.
Im thinking about transferring to ASU this fall. How are the dorms? Is the campus big, do you recommend a bringing a car?
