I'm going on the Mariner in three weeks, and seriously considering this excursion! The only reason I'm hesitant is because it's listed as taking 9 hours. Did yours really take all day? Can you spend time at the beach during the excursion or is Playa del Carmen too far away to walk to the beach during the excursion?

Your videos have been some of the best I’ve seen. You show more of the trail quality than most. Also, your comments are honest…I can hear your struggles in your breathing and you state when the trail is hard. So helpful. Suggestion….just mention mile markers more as you pass landmarks like water crossings and campsites…and water resupplies. Thank you. Happy trails.
