great video, It is funny that the surgery costed only 1k, it would cost so much more today.
great video, it is funny how the other residents of the Baxter building in the lover floors survived no problem without space gear.
I think Human Torch said that everyone else left before the building went into space
Replica edition coming in April,
Awesome, looking forward to it
congrats on your first video with 1k views.
Thank you
great video and congrats on 250 subs. I hope you will read the next unreleased issue soon as well. I am looking forward to that one.
Thank you, and I am definitely gonna be reading that next issue I've been loving this series
great video, is this the first appearance of killer frost?
yes
If there had been a covid epidemic in Gotham city and Bruce Wayne had to wear a mask like everybody else would his fiancée Julie have recognised him?
lol, probably not
I don't know if you check comments on 2 month-old videos, but just in case you do, here's an idea for you... You should put these let's reads in podcast apps! :)
That's a great idea, I never even considered that, thank you
@Lets_read_comics no prob!
great video, it is cool to see the first appearance of the Mad Monk. looking forward to the next video.
Is the Monk a reoccurring villain? I never heard of him until reading this
@@Lets_read_comicshe gets a 6 issue mini series called batman the mad monk by matt wagner. It takes place in batmans early years as batman. It was a sequel to batman the monster men.
That’s cool, thanks for letting me know
great video, It is cool to see the first appearance of Dr Doom, he is a great villian. I am glad you managed to fix the audio issues from the last video. looking forward to the next video.
great video but the audio is broken. your voice only comes from the right side when I wear headphones and not from the left side.I hope you can fix it.
Sorry about that, I was trying a new microphone on this one, gonna try and get that all fixed. Thank you for letting me know
It's never explained how Sue figures that searching a city goes easier when invisible. Good lucking trying to dodge people on the sidewalk who don't even know you're there!
lol I never even gave that any thought
Love it! Keep up the good work!
Thank you
He is in the middle of a boxing match There is no Fowl unless he was hit after the bell rang
great video, it is fun to see weird one-off comic book enemies, I wish we had more of them. keep up the great videos.
Firestorm has been an interesting character to me since discovering him sometime ago probably in the late 80's. I'm so excited to find your channel and discover this reading. Hoping for more. Thank-you!
I only discovered Firestorm like 7 years ago during the Flash TV show but I thought he was a really cool character too
Thank you!! These are awesome videos to fall asleep and relax to. Been enjoying with my son.
Super happy you and your son are enjoying them
great video, I love your FF videos. it is funny how nobody recognized Namor for 20 years just because of his beard :)
I love it, when will you release Fantastic 4 issue 4
gonna try to get it out next week
Thank you! I have liked Spider-man since I was a little kid in the early-'80s, this is the first time I have known the whole original origin story. Additionally, your voice-acting is smooth, good on you.
It’s funny because the invisible girl can float in the air now as one of here feet’s
That's cool I didn't know she could do that
@ the video games have stereotyped here force field power as telekinesis The force manifesting as the shapes illustrated in the comics
another great video, keep up the great work, looking forward the next video. also congrats on 150 subs.
Thank you
Thanks man!
I have seen your earlier videos, and I must say they keep getting better every time. I enjoy the sound effects, your voice. I love it all. Keep up the great work.❤
@@rafaelcardona6801 thank you, really means a lot
Great read
great video I loved it. I love your FF and iron man videos. (don't worry I watch and like your other videos too😁). also I hope you will finish the last two issues of firestorm. I think you have a nice voice to read comics.
There's actually 3 more issues of Firestorm since you can get the unpublished 6th issue on digital and I am definitely gonna read them all
@@Lets_read_comics looking forward to it. keep up the good work.
Sign at the end of the universe: This End Up.
will you read berserk manga?
I do definitely want to start reading manga but I’m not to sure when that will be, but I will put berserk on my list I’ve heard good things about it
In July of the Same year Dr. Strange under Steve Ditko in Strange Tales premiered as a Hero. I wonder what happened with this Switch From this Comic in May to Strange Tales?
Don Heck took over for Kirby on the Avengers. And the RED barbarian was the whole Red Sacre in Comic book form
Really looking forward to reading avengers
You know, in 1940 and 41, there was a huge pro-nazi setiment in America. When that same group saw captain america and how he punched hitler on that cover and Jack Kirby and Joe Simon portrayed hitler and the nazis as the monsters they truly were, this pro-nazi group was so mad, that simon and kirby got death threats and mail dispariging them and captain america. A pro-nazi group even once marched to timley comics' offices to attack them. Thankfully the police came to protect them. All of this seems like now, how donald trump has a cult of followers that threaten people for not liking him. This is why people compare trump to hitler, they're both cult leaders with sickening beliefs and phycotic followings.
Wow that's a really interesting part of comic history. I always assumed that basically everybody would have praised them for writing stories like this against the Nazis
@ as much as I would love to say that was the case, it isn’t true. Before the attack on Pearl Harbor, there were people in America who liked Hitler. America has a history of supporting awful people that unfortunately continues today with the likes of Trump and his maga cult. That madman belongs in a jail cell, not a presidents office.
great video, This was a very fun issue. I love your videos, especially the FF and Ironman videos. I hope you will make more of them soon. keep up the good work.
Thanks, should be another Iron Man video sometime this week
I'd like to point out the red skull in this comic isn't Captain America's arch enemy Jhoan Shiddt, (Sorry if I spelt that wrong) it's another man that took on that mantel of red skull. The Jhoan Shiddt version of Red Skull the one we all know, debuted in Captain America Comics #7.
27:46 Ahhh, a silent pannel, not very common back in 1940!
The idea of Bucky becoming cap's sidekick just because he discovered steve was cap was pretty rediculous for 1940 when this comic came out. Because you see, in Detective comics #38 from the same year, (the first apearence of robin) that comic established through nararation that dick had trained with bruce before becoming robin.
I'm really excited to read that comic and see Robin introduced for the first time, and I agree about Bucky, it just seems like they wanted a sidekick and threw him in there
@ it was later retconned that Bucky had military training and then met Steve and that’s when he became caps sidekick and that the whole thing about Bucky becoming his partner due to learning Steve’s identity was a fiction created to inspire kids.
definitely a good change to make
@ certainly
5:28 Nice to know skeletor got his vocabular from dr.death.
Plot twist, John Jones was actually a martain with a similar sounding name, and both he and Batman would be founding members of the Justice Leauge.
yeah, its cool to think this might be where they got the idea for his name
"The Batman meets dr.death by Bob Kane" Me: Yeah, right.
I wish 1963 had been the year of my birth
lol
