Nice video, the new costume looks awesome. You do you, but as a fellow Chun Li player I have to say Lightning Kick really isn't worth the risks and effort in 6 in my opinion. She has stronger and safer combos using just Hard Punch or using Hard Punch / Hard Kick or Medium Kick into regular Spinning Bird which will leave you safe and your opponent on the floor while doing more damage overall. Or go for a EX Spinning Bird that'll allow you to Tenshi Kick or even Lightning Kick for even more damage and also leaving you in full control. EX Spinning Bird can be confirmed by anything and followed up by literally anything else at zero risk - you can even bait an opponent into trying to counter a blocked EX Spinning Bird by nailing them with an EX Tensho Kicks immediately afterward that will have priority over most attacks that are not also EX themselves, this includes throws and command throws. Not only with this rock their world the first time or two, but once the come to expect it you can stop doing it and get inside their head not knowing to risk countering and getting nailed by an EX Tensho Kicks or risk blocking only to get thrown themselves. The start up time for Lightning Kicks is too iffy and frequently gets blocked even if you think you've confirmed it. Exploiting her insanely short recovery time at maximum distance of her regular leg attacks is amazing. She can block a Shouryuken counter off a low heavy kick that they blocked as long as the point of contact is very end of her reach because she recovers immediately after that. You only need to do this a couple times before you get in their head making them nervous to even try and counter you making them yours for the taking if you keep aggressive. This range can be achieved using Jumping Hard punch or kick into a Couching Light Punch, Head Stomp, 2 Light Crouching Punches or a Crouching Medium Kick or Crouching giving you enough time to unleash whatever punishment you want while they miss or recover.
