Do you happen to recall if they had breakfast options such as gluten free pancakes, donuts, and muffins? We did nickelodeon resort and it wasn't a good experience for him. Neither was beaches T&C. I'm in day 4 after Septoplasty, turbinates reduction and FESS surgery. No pain just totally blocked up and I find it difficult to sleep in the elevated position. Nasal stents get removed tomorrow so hopefully I can breath through my nose again. We shall see...

Your title is misleading. You stayed at the Oasis Palm, not at the Grand Oasis Palm. Oasis Palm isn’t a 5 star. It’s a 4 star. The bedrooms look more like a 2 star but the amenities make the rating higher.

A Disastrous Experience at Dreams Vista Cancun We recently stayed at Dreams Vista Cancun from November 22 to November 29, and this trip turned out to be one of the most unpleasant experiences we’ve ever had. What was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation became a week of constant frustration and disappointment. 1. Incompetent Service and Neglect: The room service was shockingly poor. Requests were ignored or delayed for an unacceptable amount of time, and the staff showed little to no interest in ensuring guests’ comfort. Our multiple requests for a room change were blatantly dismissed, leaving us stuck in a room that was not only uncomfortable but also unhygienic. We even found a cockroach during our stay. 2. Subpar Beach and Amenities: The beach was one of the worst we’ve seen. It felt more like a neglected afterthought than a proper beach: small, unattractive, and lacking the vibrant blue waters Cancun is known for. The rooftop, advertised as a key feature, was completely inaccessible during our stay, and the water park was poorly designed, too small, and freezing cold. Children couldn't enjoy it, adding to the frustration of traveling with a toddler. 3. Awful Food Quality: The food was an absolute disaster-cold, overly salty, spicy, and entirely unappetizing. My two-year-old son couldn’t eat anything during the entire trip, and even we struggled to find anything remotely enjoyable. The only exception was the dessert cakes, but it’s hard to consider that a silver lining given how terrible the overall dining experience was. 4. Poor Communication and Delayed Service: Even simple requests, like asking for milk for our toddler, became an ordeal. Every time we called, it took 30 minutes or more to arrive-completely unacceptable when traveling with a young child. 5. Lack of Basic Amenities and Poor Location:😡😡😡 The hotel does not offer airport transfers, forcing us to rent a car. Its location is also far from the main Hotel Zone, meaning we had to drive an hour each day just to reach a decent beach. For a hotel that markets itself as luxurious, this level of inconvenience is unacceptable. 6. Wasted Money and Ruined Vacation: We spent over $6,000 for this trip, and not a single moment of it felt worth the cost. Instead of enjoying ourselves, we spent the entire week stressed, frustrated, and disappointed. This was not the dream vacation we had hoped for-it was a nightmare. Our family left feeling completely cheated and deeply regretful about choosing this hotel. We will never return to Dreams Vista Cancun, and we will actively discourage everyone we know from wasting their money and time here. I had a totally different experience with my septorhinoplasty. My septum was severly deviated and I even had the shape made to be more narrow. I had no pain almost after the surgery aside from a mild headache, but I could easily blame the headache on a cranial recontouring surgery which I had at the same time (which includes a scar across my cranium from ear to ear -- and the peeling of my entire scalp down to access my eye sockets. My entire surgery lasted over 7 hours. After only 6 days, I feel great.

It’s only taking me 50 years I’m 62. My dad hit me in the nose of the golf club by accident at the age of 12. I’m that point all my nose got bigger. I’m having tubulation surgery and deviated septum

They need top poke holes in those boxes so the heat doesn't steam them, making them soggy.

I am one week post op and I realize how different some people's surgery aftercare is! I got no antibiotics, no creams, no saline rinses - just going at this with some pain meds. I also did not get any splints in my nose. I thought I was going crazy too since my teeth still hurt; way more than my nose has and I never saw this in other videos I saw. The throat pain and teeth pain were so strong just after, and I have had no real pain in my nose at all since the surgery. I am glad you were able to ask about that and shared that here because wow why my teeth!? Otherwise a week in I still have to wear my nose diaper when I sleep or go places since I do get a lot of discharge out of my left nostril (judgement be damned, it's better than whatever is coming out of my nose). I feel a lot of drainage down my throat still, and I think that caused some vomiting/nausea yesterday. My breathing is no different since it's a bit like I have a cold or something. Out of the recovery so far yesterday and today have been the worst, but I know sometimes surgery recovery is like that. I am hoping for the best and I have faith in the doctor who performed the surgery since he did another of mine for my throat; it's scary knowing that things may not change or may even get worse after having this done. Can't wait until I can finally get some proper sleep. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Thanks for the comparison , I was considering mar caribe and I’ve already been to Hilton Cancun and Hilton tulum and I prefer the tulum room but thanks to toir review I will not go that one .. I always try to pack my daughter swimsuit in a backpack in case the rooms are not ready .. sometimes they have big groups coming in and it’s difficult to get the rooms on time
