Is there any consequences for putting a bee r rev limiter on a car? Like will it ruin my motor or ruin anything internally or what’s the deal with it?
yes it is indeed bad for ur engine i just got mine hooked up
For best results you need to heat up the car first. When the exhust is warm it mby start shoot flames. When exhust is not warm enough it will be harder for the sparks to fire up the explotion in exhaust.

Yeah theres fake ones, the older fake ones said "ben*r on them 😂 they only make one model of them though (possibly the type b) so they arent compatible with the other cars that need the rf or rh types
I bought a bee-r but I'm afraid I'm gonna blow my car up. Can I turn it on and off at will? And just drive like the stock car(minus the other mods)
if you put gain to 0, it should turn of the bee r
If you put it to a 12 v switch you can turn it on and off

You need to find the ecu pin outs for you're car then using a multimeter check to make sure there correct if you cant get past that point then it would be better to find somebody who has or knows what todo wiring wise,

U need to remove catalyst first
To get the fake one working, you only hook up 12v, gnd and the green wire to the timing wire. you dont do anything with the other wire, and cutting the grey, white or black(?) wires on the limiter wont do anything. Also it only revs up to 3500rpm but does pop cool flames. Edit : also the knobs dont do anything
Im wiring a fake one onto a toyota tercel just for fun. This sounds about right. Green wire to a tac signal ?
@@dirtbiker0h9 if you take off the casing for the fake bee*r, the inputs/outputs should be labeled on the board.

My fake one works on all settings on my 1fz, wired in the way the Japanese forums said for a 1jz and it works really well on both settings, just working out the handbrake bit to have a trigger button lol

GUYS FOR ANYONE THAT HAS THIS ONE AND ITS WIRE RIGHT AND NOT WORKING ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CUT THE GREY WIRE ON THE SIDE AND TAPE THE ENDS SO THEY DONT MAKE CONTACT WITH ANYTHING
I've had a few of these fake ones over the years and installed them on a couple IS300 with the 2JZ. To be honest they're a hit-or-miss type of deal. I've had 2 that worked and 2 that didn't. I just ordered another one for my car (97 Toyota Supra with the 2JZ-GTE). It gets here this week so I'll set it up and see if it works. If it doesn't I'll try cutting that wire to see if it fixes it. I'll update soon.

@@smamsp as a matter of fact, it helped. Here's the thing though.. So I got another off-brand limiter, didn't say Bee*R but the same fake box. This time I got it to cut, but my AFR showed fuel was cutting too. No bangs because no fuel was being dumped. I noticed this and tried a bunch of different wiring options and it didn't work, or would cut but not dump fuel. Strangely the cuts weren't even consistent. It would cut in sets, (cut cut cut - pause- cut cut cut) So I cut the Grey wire and it actually helped. But was still cutting in sets, just more cuts before a pause. And my car would also cut fuel. That's dangerous and I didn't want to keep trying it so I just took it off. I'll try this same box on a friend's IS300 that I know works fine with other Bee*R copies and see how it goes.

@@ucf83 Actually I installed that same box I was talking about 11 months ago into my friends 1JZ and it's worked for him. It still cuts in sets and not consistently but that's just because it's a fake box. As far as finding any other good fakes, I think they're all the same. Just have a different logo printed on them from different sellers. I wouldn't pay more than $60 for a fake one though, and then again it's a hit-or-miss so make sure the one you get works.

My friend got one off Aliexpress for $40 and it wokrs allright. The knobs don't really work as they should, for example you set the limiter to be at 3500RPM but it actually kicks in higher. If anyone is interested I can send you a video. We hooked it up on a VW Golf MK3 engine, so I used the coil negative for RPM signal and the coil positive coming from the ECU for IGN Signal.

Well the fake one, did you cut one of the wires for the according cilinders? when u tear it apart i am not sure but i see 3 wires still connected?
